I don't think I've ever donated to someone on twitch, I just have empathy and a soul unlike you.

I used to follow a guy who streamed Overwatch called Valkyria or something. He was a pretty chill dude and would interact with his chat and he mained Pharah. He'd give advice to people, show people how he practises, discuss heroes and counters. It was a quality stream when like a hundred people were watching. And then he got big a few months later and had hundreds if not thousands of viewers and his interaction literally just turned into him on face cam with that retail worker forced smile and dead inside glare reading out lines from his viewers. He'd completely ignore whatever chat was going on and would commit an entire minute at a time to fellating whoever gave him 5 dollars. It was fucking sad.

If I became big I'd still try and interact with my chat. Probably with slow mode or subs only. I'd maybe say "cheers XYZ" but I can't stand it when people go at lengths thanking someone for 5 fucking dollars and going out of their way to accomodate them by playing the shitty music they recommend over stream and stuff like that.
