It's being massively downplayed. 97% "survival" rate, if you get to a hospital. If you can't, because they're all shut because the virus has infected millions, 10-20% of people will die in their homes because they require ventilators.
But hey, let's ignore that. 97% "recovered", sure. Know how many of them are going to have lifelong QOL reductions and medication requirements from the severe lung damage? Know how many of them are going to die within 5 years from complications?
