OH NO NO NO STREAMINGBROS IT KEEPS HAPPENING
OH NO NO NO STREAMINGBROS IT KEEPS HAPPENING
Why are people so analblasted about GeForce Now again?
Seems like every other store client to me.
it seems that there was a severe lack of communication from nvidia
Well, its a good thing i dont give a shit about streaming.
Do you think nVidia had the Jew who wrote up their shitty contract murdered?
It's not even a store. It just lets you stream games you already own on Steam/Epic without having the hardware to do so. Which is obviously a bad thing for every publisher since they don't get extra money from people who would buy the game again on Stadia or their own service.
damn thats sucks for the 0 people who stream video games
It's a Virtual Machine service with pre-installed steam. You login into it to play games. People are blasted because jewish publishers want to make more money out of you
Over 1 million people subscribed to Geforce now during the launch week
>streaming videogames
Who does that?
What about these companies making contract with another streming services like Stadia ?
I hope streaming never become a norm for gaming.
And how many continued to use it once they found out how garbage the latency is?
How exactly do the devs remove themselves from geforce now? Isn't that basically like a VPS but instead it's a gaymen PC you install steam, login and download your shit?
>Why are people so analblasted about GeForce Now again?
Mostly because they don't ask before pulling your game here and use it on every banner to promote their shit.
Some developers are kinda not happy about it
I just realized that my gf stopped playing GW2 back in the days becase she was hogging my PC and her macbook can't handle it. We tried GFN yesterday and it works wonderfully. There's a delay, but she doesn't realize it becasue she doesn't play games nowadays. We finally have a chance of playing something together.
>people want to try game
>try it
>it runs like shit on streaming
>they will now not buy it for themselves and make bad publicity to their friends
that's why publishers pull out
Who is worse, a jew, or someone who advocates for them with lies?
>blaming the Jews for your small dick
With what they're offering, Nvidia does not have to communicate. They can shut the fuck up and prove that they don't care about the consumer.
They run a whitelist/blacklist system for games, so if you log in to play Metro 2033, you can't fool them out by playing Fallout 4 instead, but frankly they should suspend that shit altogether. Fuck 'em if they want their shit off GeForce Now, they don't have the right. It's a rented PC and requires your Steam account to access the library.
You need to own the game to "try" it on Nvidia's service, based brainlet
someone that doesn't get laid and blames the Jews
Subscribed ? Hell no. 1 million people created account for geforce now, not all people subscribed for founders edition which you have to pay.
You shit the bed and the stench is obvious to everyone around here. Stop posting.
>Build a new PC at home
>Start up The Long Dark
>Raph appears at your house
>"Excuse me, you already installed my game on your old PC. You shouldn't be allowed to install it onto your new PC without paying me again. Please remove my game from your Steam library."
This is basically what Raph and other devs are doing to GFN. Legally it's grey though and I don't think Nvidia wants to risk losing.
But they still got their sale either way. People still have to pay for the game to use it on Geforce.
the only stench here is your virginity
someone should show these publishers shadow PC their heads would explode
What does someone's sexual life have to do with video games? Why are you projecting so hard?
Because they're basically making a business by using other companies products for advertisement without the permission of those other companies.
As an analogy, it would be fine for gaming monitors to be sold which can be used to play 2k games. However, if a gaming monitor had advertisements that said "USE THIS GAMING MONITOR TO PLAY 2K GAMES! THIS IS THE BEST MONITOR FOR 2K GAMES!" without getting permission from 2k, that is problematic.
GeForce is basically stealing other peoples intellectual property
actually it is a problem which is why they keep getting demands for removal from other companies.
The term "pulling" also seems kind of misleading. It implies that they actually put the products up and are now removing it. It's more like Nvidia illegally used their product and then they said "no, stop, you can't do that."
>But they still got their sale either way.
Some people have principles
Nothing that Nvidia's doing with this is illegal, you fucking retard. They're providing rented PCs. You, the user, are accessing Steam on their rented PCs to play your games on their rented PCs.
If anyone is doing anything illegal, it is the end consumer.
>that one stadiadrone in the comments
>2k
oh no I can't play niggaball and eggball on Geforce any more! heeelp
What Nvidia is doing is selling a service which makes use of somebody else's intellectual property in order to make money in a way that is not covered by the licensing agreement.
You're thinking about this too much from how it works for you, the consumer. The core problem here is not with consumers; the problem is the relationship between Nvidia's services and the owners of the game.
again, it is Nvidia that is doing things that violate their rights to the game, not the users.
You're a fucking retard.
the latency isn't bad, you just have shitty internet and probably live in america, must suck knowing that literal 3rd world countries have speeds that dwarf america's now
Rent free.
Streaming will never be comparable to local play, regardless of internet speed.
If what nvidia was doing wasn't wrong, they then wouldn't remove games when asked to
As long as I can play Cyberpunk 2077 at launch I will stay subbed to geforce now
150ms, good enough for single player games
it's for people who can't afford a good PC or don't care about upgrading or buying one
Oh, shut the fuck up, you fucking retard. Literally nothing of what they're doing is wrong. The problem is retards giving power to ""intellectual property"" and letting corporate powers dictate what you can and cannot do with a game you've purchased so that they can be freely anti-consumer and people will suck their dicks for it.
Nobody cares whether or not what you're doing is right or wrong when you can just file a lawsuit and potentially bankrupt someone and get away with devilish shit.
They would because GeForce Now is chump change compared to the money brought in by partnerships. They don’t want to lose all the huge bucks that tie-ins and shit have for their GPU sales by pissing off a major publisher over an experimental streaming service that generates a few bucks on the side.
This is not the hill Nvidia is going to die on. If a publisher tells them to take a game down, even if they don’t legally have to, they will anyway just to maintain the relationship.
>Gaming monitor analogy
not him but you're free to try it
like literally, you can try it for free, you're in game in minutes so it doesn't even really cost you time to try it out
it's pretty impressive to get 120fps and less than console tier input delay
you can still feel the input delay, of course, but since you're a skeptic you'll probably be impressed by how viable it is
obviously your computer is the way to run it, but seeing this as an option available to people is good
>less than console tier input delay
All streaming platforms have significantly more input delay than consoles.
I've been using it primarily at work since I have a ton of downtime and I just stream it to my tablet with a cheap bluetooth keyboard and mouse. I've easily been getting my 5 bucks out of it but its really annoying how few games are actually supported when I have 1k+ games on steam.
What's funny is that GFN was really fucking good in beta, where you could play a shit load of game
I have shitty internet and the latency on geforce now was still excellent even when the video looked like a JAV that had been re-encoded 6 times. People who cry about the input latency haven't tried it, plain and simple. I still don't like streaming, but faggots need to base their criticism on facts instead of assumptions.
that's not factual but you're not someone that is going to look at console input delays
Stop using personal anecdotes before you cry about others not using facts.
>werks on my machine :))))))))))))
Eat me.
Input latency tends to be masked by controller input and exacerbated to an extreme degree when a mouse is used. This is my experience using Steam Link to stream from my PC locally over ethernet, I imagine streaming from some remote data center will only make it worse.
steam link was laggier for me than GFN, I assume there was a bottleneck in my network but I couldn't be fucked to sort it out
Are yiu a jew? Why are you upset
Actual great service for gamers gets cucked. Sad fucking day.
I would use this serivce in a few years when my current card sucks, just pay sometimes to play games. Nvidia should market for what it is. A virtual machine
because he's a jew lel
I used psnow for a while until I ran out of exclusives to play, the lag isnt too noticeable.
Nooooo
They're coming to stadia
Why the fuck would nvidia do something this stupid?
streaming services only work when you have games people want to play that are conveniently unavailable on mainstream platforms
I bet lots of retards in their management are in process of losing their jobs at this very moment.
This shit is really annoying if you want to play games on your vita/switch via moonlight or something really greedy
google gonna google
it would be... unfortunate... if developers fell out of google's favour by courting other stores
also, this is their stadia strategy - let everyone else do the work, cultivate the teams and games, then poach it
They are doing it because its not worth the trouble, especially with americas fucked legal system.
If you see anything morally wrong with this service beyond trying to convince people streaming games is acceptable to begin with you are retarded.
Well that and maintaining good relationships with publishers. Nvida often offers free games an incentives with their gpus and they don't want to compromise that.
