netflix shows somehow always drop the ball, this show can never get it's pacing right. they killed dracula too quickly in season 2, they made those twins betray alucard out of like nowhere with the dumbest motivation, and then they ruined hector's relationship by making that progress too quickly too. Isaac was the best part of this season and trevor and sypha's stories always end up as Christianity bad. I'll tell you what though when the fucking Christians had control of wallachia entire towns and cities didn't seem to be being destroyed by demons and shit.

haha, Season 2 had some really awful pacing for sure. at least Carmilla had goals and was doing, well, something.
those side vampires I can kinda forgive wasting our time entirely because of the courtroom fight at the end.
Season 2 was an unpolished diamond in teh rough, with tweaks could have been real neat.
but they really doubled down on some of the bigger flaws of the series writing and misused the run time of 10 episodes. Everything with the church could've been a 3 episode arc easily.

I blame shit writers like Joss Whedon. Some people genuinely believe it's the way to write character dialogue.
