but i play at 300

My DPI is too high. But, I can't get used to it being lower.

friendly reminder it's better to have high DPI, low sens than it is low dpi, high sens

this is probably true

How large is your mousepad? Making use of a full 40cm mousepad is amazing

It's the same mouse pad I've used since I bought it for my first computer, In 2006.
An Icemat.

In the end the quality of the sensor in your mouse matters more than your cpi.

but i seen all the pros and god like players use insane speeds.

idk user my cunny per minute is pretty high

>tactical shit-collecting holes

matters the game and alot of them dont they just have giant mouse pads

This. Your mouse doesn't matter if you don't suck shit.

It's to reduce weight so their limp effeminate wrists don't get worn out by the weight of a 70g mouse.

>you will never be this good

Pretty sure I'm genuinely bad at multiplayer. I'm old, my reaction time is slow, and my accuracy is garbage.

Are people really gonna fall for this?

>set dpi low
>don't have giant desk to fit giant mousepad to accommodate
>never play FPS because don't care enough to change setup just for them

my mouse weighs 120g's

The best I ever aimed was with a 400dpi Microsoft Intellimouse. Gaming mice are a stupid meme, like audiophile shit

Here ya go, bro!

>playing planetside 2 with outfit
>they suggest 800 DPI if people are having trouble with the game, plus turning down sensitivity in the options menu to X
>need to sweep my mouse a full twelve inches if I want to turn 180 degrees
No thank you.

WMO and IMEs have exceptional sensors compared to a lot of mice, considering how cheap they were when they were still being manufactured. Gaming mice can be good, and some are (and if you actually care about decent sensors you are probably going to go for one since WMOs and IMEs are getting scarce), but the unfortunate reality is that it's easier for the companies who manufacture them to market shit products that are cheap to manufacture than something that is actually quality because most consumers are retarded.

only have yourself to blame then user.
It objectively makes everyone a half decent player

every good player plays at 400-800 dpi, and if they play higher than that their game sensitivity is somewhere at sub 0 settings

This is an undeniable truth

Microsoft released intellimouse classic.

But is it's sensor actually any good?

Actually it’s more likely to do with lower FPS and input delay

No, it was released with a shitty sensor, get the pro intellimouse as that one got it fixed

Isn’t there some game/program that helps you find out what mouse settings (DPI and in-game sens) to use? Or is a person going to have to dedicate about a month manually testing shit out? Also another question is: does each game have a different sort of in-game mouse sensitivity? Like a sensitivity of 5 in Game A is the sensitivity of 4 in Game B?

I sorta just get used to it, in Gmod and source games I usually use 15-20 sensitivity at 1800 DPI in R6 I use like 4 matters the game desu

need advice Yas Forums

I'm currently using a microsoft wired optical mouse (400 dpi), but I bought a razer abyssus as a replacement, which is I think 7000 dpi.

Will I have to adjust sensitivity in every program/windows in order to make it feel the same or will my computer translate the sensitivity automatically. I guess my question is, is DPI the determining factor in physical sensitivity or is it just an independent measurement?

DPI is literally just how many pixels it touches in a inch, its all about you user, its the mouses BASE sensitivity and think of game settings as altering it. high DPI low sensitivity is generally considered king but whats most comfy for you is the best.

well I know that dpi is dots per inch or whatever.

Ok how about this. if I'm running at 400 dpi now and switched to 800 dpi without changing anything else, would my cursor move twice as far with the same movements of my mouse?

Correction* not alter it but interpret it

You can change dpi in razer software

Yes

Higher DPI is objectively better. You probably mean eDPI.

youtube.com/watch?v=8XNUp70mDlQ

this my razer mouse has buttons on the top for switching on the fly
yes

ok, thank you

Maybe I'll just set it to 4000 dpi and divide all my sensitivities by 10

>completely missing the point
wow paint me amazed, a fucking nigger retard on Yas Forums lol

Attached: slowdownretard.jpg (615x661, 81.56K)

You can stop trying so hard to fit in.

Attached: 1577182044432.gif (550x400, 24.87K)

I didn't miss any points. Your argument was false.

Low DPI isn't inheritly good. eDPI is where it's at.

>not having a G502 with 1600DPI running driverless on its own internal profile

Only post in this whole thread that matters

Damn, I can't believe I didn't realize sooner that my dpi is the reason I suck at street fighter

I have 16000 dpi and I need to use every single one of them

Is the Razer Deathadder the most ergonomic mouse?

ergos are entirely self dependent I use a razer Naga trinity the CHONK is lovely for me but others hate it. basically experiment until u find wat u like

>look at this thread
>go into Apex
>lower sens to 2.0
>laser people in my next game

UHGMMMM?
WHY DID NOONE TELL ME THIS SOONER?

Where is dpi in my wheel settings?

Toxic is the best aimer in the world, and his mouse movement is extremely smooth and precise.

this mouse activates a trytophobia in me

Playing at 1600dpi with high sensitivity in-game just fine with a mixture of both wrist and arm aiming.

lmao, and I'm ranting that my Rival600 is too light even with the weights in

I don't understand how people play at less than 5K DPI.

friendly reminder you're all shitters making excusing for why you aren't good at the games you play
youtube.com/watch?v=Y8JFRm1jBic

OP here user, you are right

>Such a limp-wristed little faggot that you need to drill dust and dirt collecting holes in your mouse to lose 10 fucking grams of weight on it

Attached: disapproving dog.jpg (720x720, 113.25K)

I run my mouse at absolute highest speed, it's always funny when people try to use it and it constantly moves from one corner of my screen to the other

.

Attached: mouse chart.jpg (900x3600, 1.05M)

imagine being incapable of aim with 4800 dpi at that point just play console shooters

I'm top of the leaderboards and my mouse doesn't have any fancy buttons or awkward overly sensitive settings, it's just a mouse, it feels natural.

wtf is that real?

Low DPI/sens isn't even hard, I used to play FPS with like 80cm/360 (~31 inches/360) and could still 180 on people

They don't, they have really big mousepads.

What in the fuck is this shit anyway?

Friendly reminder that OP is as always a retarded faggot, and that high DPI is "ALWAYS" a good thing, but you need to keep your sensitivity in check.

I can only imagine what the contrarian faggot who made this chart smells like

What's wrong with it? It's a lot more accurate than the meme chart people used to post here.
Unless you're a Finalmouse shill

It depends on your mouse pad. I don't flick shot because I'm not a ADHD adderall junkie.

A mistake
