In hindsight I’m impressive with the amount of stuff here. All stages are made in a way you will have to explore them with each character for a full completion, plenty of armor and rare metal parts, shit like that. They don’t make games like that nowadays. Hell, I was impressed playing Megaman 7 and the whole stuff like Protoman’s Shield and Rush Armor that could be acquired too, nowadays games are way too straightforward

In Zero 1? Grinding energy crystals is a pain in the ass so nobody bothers. Even in 2 or using Fusion Elves in 3 people tend not to use them because they hit you with a score penalty.

Pretty much. The grind for e-crystals in Z1 is kinda bad, and the games were balanced around using no elves anyway.

No, you still get the penalty. It's just that ranks don't matter nearly as much in 1 since you don't get EX Skills from bosses. Too bad Elves are even more of a pain in the ass to raise in that game though.
Will buy it on my next paycheck, but I really hope a BN + Star Force collection comes out. Though knowing Capcom I doubt they'll release all 6 (not including version diff) games in oen collection and then add in star force on top.

Are the EX buster skills in Zero 3 better than they were in 2? Almost all of them besides the peircing non-elemental laser were straight downgrades.

Beat ZX today, still my favorite of the zero/zx games.
I eventually broke and used save assist only on the final mission and Omega because I kept getting filtered by the tornado electric one and I didn't feel like doing it all over again.

Praire is a reploid so it doesn't matter or we're considering Aile and Palette exhibitionists, and just because Aile has synthetic skin doesn't mean Ashe necessarily does. I get the feeling that if they were asked again today they'd give you a different answer too.
