I did play Mirror of Fate, actually. Lords of Shadow was a separate continuity. But even in Lords of Shadow the main Belmont line wasn't part vampire. Trevor was conceived before Gabriel became a vampire and Simon was conceived before Trevor was revived as Alucard.
