Let's talk, about, it

I wonder if you can choose the starting fruit, or will I have to Thanos Snap several islands until I get cherries?
>thanos snap
XD
I don't know why there's such an emphasis on an outdoor patio furniture. I want to see terraforming masterpieces. I did like the themed outdoor sets at the end.
Clown nose a cute, CUTE!
I'm hoping bridges between cliffs are a thing so I can have a bridge a full story above a river.
probably because it's one of the newest features. but yeh, terraforming is going to be one of the best parts.
I plan to build a spiral mesa w/a comfy toilet next to a waterfall up top. Maximum comf
highly doubt it, chances are devs did'nt consider it until people saw the terraforming and started fantasizing about it.
That'd be cool. Can't wait to find out
remember, your very first island is like your virginity, once you go for seconds just to get another fruit villagers or grass your new horizons experience is not pure anymore.
Testing on how to reply on here. Upvote
20th of March can't come soon enough. I hope this game gets leaked.
nailed it
This. Not sure why everyone is such an aspie about fruit in the first place.
Let's talk about your comma placement, it's fucking weird man.
Even if it isn't immediately possible, it wouldn't surprise me if this gets added in an update
this is partially why I'm not going to go out of my way to get specific Villagers. If I eventually want my absolute favs, I'll do it. But in the mean time I wanna see who shows up randomly or who I can find on other islands.
i would coom so fucking hard to the girl voicing that commercial
I will only reset for fruit if I get a fucking durian
Any of the others is good
will i turn into a tranny if i play this
I have never played AC before. Can you plant other fruits on your island? What do you mean by Thanos Snap in this context? Can you collect the fruits without taking down the whole tree? Do trees grow back from let's say a stump if you take them down?
imagine unironically asking such a stupid question
JP animal crossing logo is so much more soulful than the western version
Yeah in that I agree, you can tell this is one of the possible things people will harass Nintendo about. I'm really hoping each seasonal event brings content updates to the game.
Who "not gonna terraform" here? I always liked building around or with the land, trying to find what compliments what is already there.
only to make a raised benis in the center of my town
we've barely heard any music and im getting scared its shit, wtf do i do.
It's new and could possibly be cool. In reality it's going to look like a garbage dump or ghetto by the average player.
How about focusing on all the new things animals say and do in commercials?
>Fruit
You can get other fruits from other players, or you can go to other towns and take a fruit and plant it in your island
>Thanos Snap
Resetting, the island/characters that come with are generated upon starting the game, restarting the game without saving to get different villagers/fruit is something players have done for a while
>Fruit again
You can take the fruit without killing the tree, yes, you just shake the tree
>Stump
Actually don't remember if they did
Yes. Embrace it.
This. I'm usually opposed to RNG mechanics, but I feel like AC is best played without re-rolling. It's a more soulful experience.
it's not shit

Make you own town tune, duh
Trees don't grow back from stumps, real life or otherwise.
Okay, thanks! Are there any more things to "farm" in AC? I know there are several kinds of fruit trees and then there are some flowers. Is there anything else? Are flowers purely decorative or you can harvest them like fruits without killing the whole plant?
I would kill for a Doom edit.
>Actually don't remember if they did
They don't. Besides you need stumps to get mushrooms.
Also one important thing about fruit is that non-native fruit sells for 5x more than your starting fruit. So getting some fruit from a friend’s town/island and planting it in your own is always a good idea.
Plus sometimes an animal will ask for a non-native fruit and it’s nice to be able to immediately fulfill the request instead of finding someone online who has it.
meh. the accoustic guitar reminds me too much of new yoshi games. the 5pm song I heard was pretty nice though
If you're concerned about turning into one then you already are one, but you just didn't know it yet. The only thing to do now is to go ahead with your transition.
True escapism.
I've got 4 cartridges of wild world in my ds bag from a long time ago. hopefully one isnt erased to see what tf i was doing back then.
>Farm
There's fish and bugs to collect and they can be donated to the museum
You can also find things buried, you dig them out, they tend to be fossils you can donate also (or keep for yourself and display them)
>Flowers
I think they grow on their own, if you pick a flower you take the whole batch (may be different in this new game, considering some of the changes they've done)
If you sprint through a flower it disappears
Flowers are mostly for decorative purposes, you can make your own garden or display them in your home, in this game you can also wear them/make flower crowns
You can always buy flower seeds at the store and plant them wherever
Yes. there will be islands full of unnironical degenerates
What time will you guys be playing on average day to day?
I'll be around 10:30pm-on
tfw you get a song you don't like on the only time you can play
Doesnt sound anything like the new yoshi games
Where’s the face you make
>10:30 PM
RIP Able Sisters
should I buy this physical or digital
I'm almost always a physicalfag but I've reached a point of acceptance on digital games if they're dirt cheap or, in this instance, something I know I'm gonna be playing on an extremely regular basis anyway.
Flowers can be bred for new colors, taking some time to get them all. Traditionally you can't harvest them because they slowly spread creating more that you pick up instead, but maybe this changed.
im taking a lesson from new leaf that i orginally had on physical. but digital made the game a lot more enticing to play every day, especially when i was on other games.
I usually buy physical shit that if not convinced I could sell down the line, I dont believe i would ever like to sell or borrow my ac game so that made it digital for me.
gotten apples for the last 3 animal crossing games in a row, thought it was the "default" fruit until someone told me it wasn't.
wonder if it'll be apples again
Hello Cherry
How do I use these exactly? Please respond whenever you're able to, thank you.
nah the other one. wooly world
>Thanos snap
thats a bad analogy, why would you wipe out half of your island?
I'm a physicalfag but Animal Crossing is 100% a digital game
Be aware that this game won't be immediately transferable to a new console, that'll come with a future update
Thats the one with the good ost though.
Who's naming their town what?
I was gonna go with Delfino but i feel that's too unoriginal and lots of ppl will do that. At the same time i shouldnt be a fucking cuck and do what i like.
Or, do what I've done since gamecube era and name it after a pokemon town.
The bottom line is:
Do you want about $20 or less back when you sell the game in 3 years
or would you be fine losing $60 to own the game forever.
Thats incredibly tacky, like naming your town something like Hyrule or Kanto.
I named my town in NL "Twinseeds" (or something to that effect) but I dunno what to do with this new one.
I've been wanting to name my fucking place Animal Forest ever since the fucking series started
Thinking of naming it DobuMori at this point
>can't name it monster island and terraform it as a peninsula
why even live.
Pen island
Guys, I've been planning on buying a Nintendo Switch to play this game.
From what you've seen, do you think it will still be like the last installments? Haven't seen much footage of the game but I got some Pocket Camp vibes from the start of the initial Nintendo Direct vid.
I just wanna decorate houses, dress up and be comfy with my bros. The tent-living and crafting makeshift sticks-and-stones furniture scares me.
'I am defined by the media I consume'
this game is media and you will consume it you absolute autismo
or people want to have fun with their town name on a childrens game, retarded doomer.
Auschwitz, if it'll let me
Based
How does it give you PC vibes?? And don't you start in a tent in ACNL?
Kangaroos are the worst villagers
The tents aren't permanent, the player and villagers will upgrade to houses later.
There is new furniture you get by crafting, but you still have to buy a lot of it from the store.
I usually name my islands after my favorite brands/flavours of ice cream
Sweet childhood memories ahoy!
Physical. More affordable than digital and you could get a pre-order bonus trinket, free of charge, with your purchase.
Also, in the long run, however many years in the future, having your game on cartridge is good when you eventually give away or sell off your system and game, as the recipient can't access your digital titles.
Twinsneeds
they are kind of stylish this time around, plus australia towns are gonna be a thing now.
Bulls and lions on the other hand...
Shut the fuck up dude Lions are BASED and cute.
Digital will always be superior on a console like the switch if you aren't the type to sell your old games off. does a coverbox sitting on some shelf really persuade enough to get physical?
It's just so tiring to see that's what people do when given a tool to express yourself and use your creativity the slightest bit.
It's like people who use minecraft to build their favorite streamers name in the sky.
