I would love a new PE game but I still don't really trust square. I think PE, while great, had some areas to improve but I worry we're just gonna get a standard TPS with magic and modern SE bullshit writing. PE worked well because it was, and I use this term loosely because the game was bonkers still, more grounded. There wasn't really anime bullcrap. It very much felt like a NYC cop story with sci fi body horror mixed in.

Still might be neat to see how they would handle the weapon modding.

Between FF7, The Resident Evils and now this maybe Im just fed up. Why can't anyone just make something new. Remakes are a cry of lazy desperation. I still love all my old games and Im happy to keep playing them but the more this goes on the more people are just gonna lose out on their own nostalgia.
