The Atlantis levels looked looked even more terrific thanks to the bad texture perspective mapping thing. When the camera moved in certain ways the textures would warp around making it appear that the walls collapsed on top of you and shit. In other levels this was annoying but it worked great there.

analogue makes tr1-5 utterly unplayable. the og controls are sublime and perfectly match the gameplay.

Levels in the classic games can get seriously fucking convoluted, it gets pretty maze-like from like.. the halfway point of TR1. It's almost like they are ancient tombs or something.

I genuinely liked the levels in AoD, but the gameplay was absolute dogshit. Lara was extremely sluggish, her weapons sucked, platforming was painful, and the strength upgrade was absurd.
