No.
>attributes
Yes.
He would if he could escape his captivity. Todd's shadow clone doppelganger trapped him in the basement of Bethesda.
>still no black marsh game
NEVER EVER
You're getting human provinces for the rest of your life and you will like it.
What's that?
Three perk trees.
>Sword
Governs sword, Heavy armor, smithing, and longsword.
>Spell
Governs Fireball, light armor, enchanting, and lightning bolt.
>Sneak
Governs bow, medium armor, poison, and dual daggers.
Todd please, I want ladders and spears.
>medium armor
Doubt they'll add it back in.
But Todd... Morrowind isn't a human province.
How could they possibly, POSSIBLY try to streamline the game even further?
Just three archetypes/perk trees?
Magic is one spell per school?
Weapons are just melee and ranged?
Health, Magic, and Stamina are all one resource?
Potions are used automatically when you get low?
Overencumbered items get sent to your horse automatically?
Depressingly likely
>Killy
Governs all forms of attack, offense and damage dealing
>Defendy
Governs all forms of armor, mitigation, and evasion
>Makey
Governs all crafting, which will be limited to making mods for the 12 types of weapon in the game
surprisingly, its probably one of the only features that has a possibility of coming back. Judging from Fallout 4, TESVI will have armor layering and levitation return from Morrowind.
Sorry, market analytics are telling us that classes and attributes are too complicated for our main audience. People should be able to play the game however they like and still be successful, whether they invested all their points into swordfighting or basket-weaving.
Honestly Yas Forums. How much more can they possibly streamline it?
What the fuck is a Morrowind.
>levitation
You almost had me, too
Nothing you need to know now that we have OpenMW.
Rail shooter. Sword in one hand, fireball in the other. Levels gained every 100 feet traveled
Fallout 4 had jetpacks
You don't remember, Todd? I'll give you a hint: "The atmosphere is so great, and I like that it doesn't hand hold you."
Why yes, I do own Skyrim on xbox, playstation, nintendo, stadia, wii, mobile phone, microwave, gameboy color, bad dragon, and PC how could you tell?
It also had no npcs
This seems like tempting fate. Lemme see.
Four stats: HP, Magicka, Defense, and Attack. Four weapon types: Sword, Spell, Bow, Dagger. All armour is cosmetic, the only thing that matters is whether it's light or heavy armour.
Each time you level up you pick a stat, a weapon type, or an armour type. Putting a point into it increases it by 10%. No, it never scales any other way, it always increases by 10%.
>Not owning Skyrim on Ankle Monitor
get on my level
you call yourself a fucking fan?
>adding depth to gameplay
nah, they'll dumb it down more
just add futa to the base game already
What? Where am I? Who are you? When’s Skyrim releasing?
Back into the grave with you, Robin Williams. You'll catch the dementia again.
I'll do you one better: how much more lackluster can the writing get?
Now this is what I call a productive member of the gaming community. I reward you with this handsome puppy for your great contributions to Todd’s wallet fund.
>Willingly putting on an ankle monitor to play Skyrim.
Based Autismo
>Classes
>Attributes
Fuck no. Why the fuck would you bring those back?
>depth
People just love throwing that word around
>starts tes VI
OH HEY, LOOKS LIKE I'M A PRISONER WHO GOES ON AN EPIC QUEST TO KILL SOME SORT OF THREAT TO THE COUNTRY.
It's about a father searching for his son, but the twist is the son is also searching for his father
Please understand. It's close to impossible to make such a feature in 2020, we need another decade of technological advances to support that.
t. Todd
>tfw I actually believe Skyrim was a step in the right direction regarding downgrading some systems
Feels good to be a casual and actually enjoying games.
fuck off, todd.
I just want Daggerfall's character creation system back.
>CLASSES
Did class ever do anything but pre-select your major and minor skills? Who the hell didn't pick their own skills?
That's right. Simpler games for a new generation.
Elder Scrolls 6 will have an identity crisis in terms of genre and overall direction
>TES will be a more simplistic, buggy and dissapointing game than Skyrim, FO4 and F76 combined
>Yas Forums will go through periods of hyping it up, playing it, shilling it then hating it
>normalfags will eat it like scarabs on shit
>mfw
I mean so was Fallout 4. It was just a hodgepodge of poorly implemented features stolen from popular games at the time like Borderlands and Bioware games
how about dynamic classes, you get a class based on your attributes and other stuff
>then I’ll remember it so you don’t have to
Didn’t this hack get fired?
Perhaps I'm just being too optimistic because I love TES so much, but I'm expecting TES VI to be about on par with Skyrim. Better than FO4, but worse than NV and Morrowind.
Would essentially be a title at that point but sounds good despite that
If anything, he will remove even more mechanics from the game.
Todd stated it in an interview that their whole approach to design is to remove anything they deem even slightly unnecessary or redundant.
No. Because you asked there are now only three attributes, Fight, Shoot, and Magic. You also now get no classes. Go fuck yourself.
What happened to Todd bros? He used to love complex RPGs
That's what I'm wondering too, seeing that Skyrim was a very popular game and implies the casuals can at least wrap their heads around the core idea of TES's skill systems and the game's very simplified attributes, as well as the introduction of perks that were also very basic and straightforward. Guess it remains to be seen how much something can be streamlined until the casuals notice.
Autoplay button
>20 years after the games a release a comprehensive mod will come out making it playable
No it's fine everything will be fine, just buy the game user! they will still have mods right?
This "leak" is 100% bullshit, but what do you guys think of this retard's ideas for gameplay features?
old.reddit.com
I think you should go back
This leak is made by a retard. I have a small "leak" from a Dev that I talked to, but it's mostly just what new tech they are using for tes6. The tech he mentioned I also later saw in Bethesda video so I think it is legit and it also means that there must be a new engine coming because Creation engine can not do the kind of physics, photogrammetry or global illumination they are including.
Realistically, is there any hope for Elder Scrolls becoming a true RPG again? Oblivion's leveling and difficulty scaling was retarded but the game was at least fun and rewarding. Skyrim just felt so hollow and stagnant. I want a return to form, give me options, make me dedicate myself to build for fuck's sake.
your leak is bullshit as well, it seems. TESVI is already confirmed to be on an updated creation engine
I liked this part:
>Alteration isn’t just magic armor and paralysis spells, it actually allows you to alter the reality around you, so you can pull up giant spikes from the ground, open locks, disarm traps, slow people down
Although I doubt they'll add it in 6, or at least in that detailed of a way. The rest was bullshit.
