Star Wars is dead. I was the absolute biggest Star Wars fan you could possibly be, owned and read/played every single EU book, comic, and game. It was the one and only fictional universe/setting I was ever passionate about. There's nothing left to like or care about, they destroyed it all. Disney can't openly admit that they have no new ideas, and they don't have the ability to come up with new ideas, and they can't admit that the EU is a million times better than the garbage new lore they have come up with, so they have to come up with a way to ape the Old Republic without just using it directly.
