Hot take: pogoing should do half or at least reduced damage. It's broken. The damage output is too high and it gives you such a huge mobility boost that regular attacks are mostly a liability in comparison. It nearly trivializes some of the best bosses in the game like Sisters of Battle and Pure Vessel.

Steel soul doesnt require a radiance kill, you just need to kill HK.
You can do it and the speed run achievement at the same time.

I only ever used that trick once against Markoth because I suddenly found myself at 1 hp and I didn't want to check of Warrior Dreams actually counted as deaths in Steel Soul when I was almost 10 hours in and so close to finishing the damn thing.

I've beaten the first 3 pantheons with all bindings so far and just made it to Watcher Knights in the 4th pantheon with only Charm binding. A fight that you've been used to simply DPS down without it being much of a threat suddenly became harder than when I first did the fight on my first playthrough.
