Nah, they need to have similar CPU, since no shit, Series X will run some games at 30 fps despite Zen 2, because fuck optimization.
It's probably a 1080p 60 fps console or 1440p whatever framerate the game targets on Series X.
And either way, 8th generation will be still very relevant for the following 3 years or so, Square Enix has no plans for 9th gen only games yet.

SeX is pretty much on steroids. It would take an incredibly poorly optimized game for it to chug it down to 30 fps. Phil has said himself that 30 fps standard was the most disappointing thing about this gen.

Devs don't give a damn. They're not going to waste resources on making sure their games are optimized. They're going to make sure it runs at 30fps 4K on the PS5 and port it to everything else in a week.
