I swear, people only think a game is considered a remake if it's on the same level of change as FF7R. A remaster would simply be XB1 in HD. XB1D is the original game slapped in a new engine, alongside the fact that many things will likely be given QoL updates to make the game smoother. Beyond that, Shulk's VA said he recorded new lines for a project that is more than likely XB1D, so it's just about bordering on remake.
