Trap in RL is generally considered a transphobic term and associated with trapping people, 2d ''trap'' is somewhat more tolerable. But you have better terms such as Otokonoko who japanese use as their own ''trap'' alternative. Also, dont forget Bailey Jay referred to themself as trap early on.
