wasn't ready
halo
fallout
Wipeout
Dawn of War
C&C
Final Fantasy
Gaming, period. Modern games are shit with maybe a half-dozen games in the last 10 years or so being any good.
Pokémon
World of Warcraft
Halo
SHUT UP. Fallout 4 wasn't even that bad and 76 doesn't count. They're still trying to figure it out. Fallout 5 is going to be as good as NV.
Darkstalkers
Yas Forums
Dawn of War
Dawn of War
World of Warcraft
Bioware in general
Dawn of War especially hurts me since I loved both 1 and 2, owned all the expansions, and was really wanting to give 3 a chance. 3 sucked hard. I don't even know the final opinion on it since I shut off from everyone else when it came out.

>fallout 4 wasnt that bad
Elder Scrolls
Diablo
Half Life
Fable
All of them have made me wary of franchises getting too popular, and having too much money backing them.
Rich Evans, and calling him "it" is pretty rude
>Assassins Creed
fuck. It's so dead to me that I forgot it in my list.
star wars
since 2007
Halo
Mass Effect
Call of Duty to some degree
Fallout
Zelda
Silent Hill
:(
Castlevania
Mortal Kombat
Yas Forums
C&C
CoD but that's been the case for over a decade now
Battlefield
Warcraft
Deus Ex
Fallout
Star Wars games
Thief
Splinter Cell (again, for like a decade)
Dead Rising
Tomb Raider
GTA
Crysis
F.E.A.R
Unreal
Pretty much all the western series I used to like have gone to shit, with the main exceptions being
>Far Cry (since it was never all that great to begin with)
>Max Payne (yes, MP3 was worse than the first 2, but it wasn't complete shit/didn't ruin an entire company like some of the other games on my list)
>Half Life (because it hasn't had a new game in longer than most of this board has been alive, jury's still out on HL Alyx but it looks decent)
>Metroid Prime
>Command and Conquer
>Warcraft
>HOMM
>Arena Shooters
>DoW
>Most if not all the remaining RTS games
it hurts
Red Letter Media is the single worst entity to have made it onto the internet
Change my mind
>dead rising
Forgot this one. 100% Dead Rising
Steven Crowder exists.
Not when Channel awesome exists/existed.
So what's worse, seeing a series you love turn to shit, or that great game that never got a sequel? I think I prefer the later.
which star wars movie are you upset they didn't like
The former is much much worse.
A great example is Mirror's Edge Catalyst.
>seeing a series you love turn to shit
this one, especially when other people love the direction the series went in and call you a shitter or entitled or a fake fan etc
>tranny makeup millionaires
>literal pedophiles
>elsa/spiderman pedo fucks
>let's play sellouts
>burnout animators
>e-beggers
>fat people
but yeah, it's the 3 old Minnesotan nerds that are the worst thing on the Internet
metal gear
warcraft
silent hill
harder to think about a franchise that s not turd these days
>Minnesotan
i believe two are from chicago and one is from wisconsin but all now live in the milwaukee area
wisconsin not minnesota. gameinformer is in minnesota
Far Harbor was pretty good, easily the best thing bethesda has done with the ip by a mile.
fair, but they gave the lead writing on that to ashley cheng (spelling?) someone i had no idea existed at bgs and who ive not heard from since
they went and did far harbor and then followed it up with the retarded bad guy shooting gallery that was nuka world so im not convinced its anything but lightning in a bottle

Oh god, that's the fucking worst.
unironically splatoon.
Ubisoft as a whole is ass but i used to like them, particularly 00s Ubi. Clancyshit, asscreed 1-revelations, beyond good and evil, far cry 1 & 2, rayman, PoP, and the king kong tie-in were all good. Shame they wanted to do "muh towers n open worlds" shit and oversaturated it. For honor and siege are the only modern ones i like and they still are a long way off from old ubi.
>>Tenchu
God this one hurts so much.
as much as I hate to say it I don't think Megaman is ever getting any official continuations. Fans are pretty passionate though and there are lots of good fangames
Show me on the doll where this quote touched you.
You just got Mega Man 11. There are plenty of Capcom franchises that haven't had games in decades.
Oh man, Ubisoft in the early-mid 2000s produced tons of great games.
From 2001 to 2006 they had
>Ghost Recon
>Splinter Cell Chaos Theory
>PoP Sands of Time
>R6 Raven Shield
>Dark Messiah
>GRAW
Nowadays all they make is the same 2 open world turds over and over again with a mediocre action game or FPS sprinkled in.
>RS3 is a fucking disasterpiece of a wow clone that only exists to have a cash shop
>OSRS is run by retards for zoomers and hackers who only care about PVM content
>just want to go back to comfy and relaxed 2005 runescape and its community
the modern state of MMOs is just the fucking worst
"Turn to shit" can have so many different layers. There can be unplayable shit, then there's something that sabotages all the persistent values and points to discuss about a series.
Ultima was fucked over in that respect and I don't know if a restoration could be possible. But dredging a persistent ethical thesis out of this decads-spanning game franchise is... well something lost because there's no interested to have in it anymore.
battlefield
They're not mutually exclusive.
>and 76 doesn't count.
Todd its too early, go to sleep.
>Side with BoS
>Go try to save the girl
>Get the girl nuked by BoS instead
Yeah so well made, fuck off shill.
nvm it was actually william shen, ashley cheng is a production director at bgs
The best thing that can happen to something good is for it to end. Nothing has ever stayed good after the passion and creative drive ran out and the only thing left is brand name appeal.
Fate, or just TypeMoon in general.
>final fantasy
>tekken
>dead or alive
>soulcalibur
>fatal frame
>asscreed
>persona
Liternally nothing wrong with these. Some better than ever actually
Socom 1 & 2 were masterpieces. 3 was shit with the retarded large ass maps, but compared to what came after that it's almost a hidden gem.
Paper Mario
i didn't have the ps2 network adapter so i told myself online was a gimmick and why would anyone care about playing console games online anyway
U r mah bro
Paper Mario
Zelda
Mario Party
Mario Kart
Dr. Mario
Pokemon
Yoshi
Star Fox
Mass Effect
Mike was from Arizona
someone post the collage of all the thumbnails of their star trek picard review series
It's like a screenshout out of soul reaver
Mortal Kombat. I've played every main game but haven't even bothered with MKX or 11.
Same for MGS, dropped it entirely after 3.
None because I never developed a nostalgic connection with the shitty game series that dumb normalfaggots who infest Yas Forums now did. All the games I like just stopped getting made and can't ever be rebooted due to autistic intellectual property laws and faggot publishing companies.
woah watch out looks like we got a real cool guy here
