Will there be new mounts other than horses that you can keep in botw 2?
Will there be new mounts other than horses that you can keep in botw 2?
I'm playing botw right now for the first time, cool game. But I don't get horses. I'm always climbing and picking stuff from the ground, horses feel like they don't belong in the game.
Anyone else dissapointed they couldn't keep the skeleton horse or the lord of the mountain thing? Or even bears...
yuuuurp.
>only good for certain areas
>there's a saddle that makes them more convenient
>however they're damn near useless when you get the bike
I'm hoping they're more useful in botw2.
That's a big horse....
Kind of, but not really.
They're just one of those things in games where you know it's only a temporary gimmick and not something you get to keep. I never even bothered to take any of those to a stable.
4 u
...
I wasn't following zelda threads around the time Botw came out, but someone please tell me that everyone was pissed at nintendo for this game's low-effort DLC and half of the outfits and even some features locked behind amiibo shit.
For ad much praise as breath of the wild gets, it genuinely feels like one of Nintendo's most jewish releases.
They were, newfag
I would imagine they would. One way you can reuse the same map but make it fresh is to add areas you weren't able to get to before like underground, underwater, and aerial and you can have mounts that allow you to get to those areas
>really like the spotted patterns in horses
>they have shit stats
>horses can be green for some reason
>but the white color is reserved to only zelda's horse
Enjoy your horse meta
>liking paint
I bet you think poodles are beautiful dogs too, you fucking queer.
More than likely, it'll be a simple add and people asked to be able to keep the skelly horses and the glowing moose king
I caught this big horse for that shitty quest and it couldn't even sprint. Did I get unlucky or are they all the same stats?
>End-game content makes early and mid-game content obsolete
stonk the purses
meh, fair point.
I wouldn't mind being able to mount a princess, if you know what I mean
Horses would have been good if fast travel wasn't so overpowered
Just give me a mountable elk so I can Princess Mononoke it up
Giant horse is faster than most horses even without full gallop
you just know
>not able to ride the horses in botw because watching their asses move makes me urgently need to fap
>wind up using the gay teleport to get everywhere instead
Nintendo says they made the horses auto-steer so you can enjoy the scenery, but I know now that they did not mean the landscape.
I work for Nintendo, I can confirm that Link will be mounted by a horse in BOTW2.
awful ass.
I am actually surprised you can just fast travel at any point. Even when in combat.
I guess that's one more reason to never actually fight shit in on this game.
Horses have a few combat advantages. When jumping off a horse you can get a slow-mo Bow shot off even on flat terrain, which does extra damage
welp, time to go to e621
If you engage in combat in this game, you're already missing the point
Just a bad picture of it
the purpose of the horse is basically so you can let it auto-run on the roads, while you just look around and admire the world
i like the horses because it reminds you that BotW has a road system where all the towns are connected, its pretty neat.
Kill yourself, furfag
BotW Zelda is the cutest Zelda and if you think otherwise you're wrong
Wrong
Botw zelda is ugly and her personality is easily the worst in the franchise.
You would have to be blind, deaf and dumb to like botw zelda
I stupidly thought you could leave up to 5 horses on the field, hence the point of boarding. It seems like a needlessly complex menu.
Take out horse
Board horse
Register horse
Yet there's no way to kick a horse out UNLESS you register while full, but you can't compare you kick out the moment you are asked to do so. Board and take make no fucking sense, take out immediately boards whatever horse is in the overworld. And board, well, you can dump the horse anywhere and long aa you're not near it there's no chance of a horse dying to enemies. Horse menu is largely redundant outside of REGISTER and the stable hands who adjust the look of the horse and saddles.
I rode for hours on horses because I decided to play the entire game without using Fast Travel. They are super useful for covering long distances but you rarely need to do this because of the generous teleport system.
I was so mad I couldn’t keep the stalhorse
I heard there was this game made in 1999 that had this great idea where you can use a musical instrument to summon your horse from any location in the game to you. They should have borrowed from that game, it was really good.
Catchy tune too.
>Playable Zelda
>Horses that large
bros...
>expecting this game to let you do whatever you want
>I decided to play the entire game without using Fast Travel
i feel sorry for you and your autism. the game is already a chore as it is.
>More realistic personality. Flawed, contradicting desires, moments of weakness and regret
NOT *MY* WAIFU
you just know...
I think SS Zelda is worse than botw Zelda. She was just a brat but she didn't mislead Link, at least.
>>More realistic personality
Lol?
How much time is enough time to pass to fully enjoy a replay?
>game1 on release had fun for hours inspecting every little fucking thing
>game2 had knowledge of where stuff is and blitzed the good stuff and accidentally beating the game with 3 hearts
>game3 barely made it out of the plateau and quit
so here we are, 3 years later
If you genuinely think that other Zeldas were more realistic, you have a severe misunderstanding of social dynamics and cues
The game is focused nearly entirely on exploration.
It's only natural you get bored quickly after discovering everything. Especially when the game has no other elements that make it interesting to replay. Shallow story, no ability to roleplay, gmod physics get old quickly, no alternate endings to work towards, game punishes you for a 100% score, shallow combat, etc.
Botw was completely built to be a game most people will only play once. It's your fault for playing it multiple times.
I wanna be able to start with the bike. You usually don't get it until the very end since it was the reward for the final dlc, so I better be able to have that shit from the get-go and actually utilize it outside of cleanup.
The only thing people really got upset about from your list was Wolf Link partner being amiibo only since there's no way to actually tame a dog or wolf companion in the base game.
Fuck me, I have many games to play already and I wanna replay this in Master Mode, currently doing so.
Any help with installing the Linkle mod? The download page wants me to download some mod manager, fuck that. Is that the only way?
Horses in Zelda are a complete meme. Epona's role in OoT was actually pretty tiny. In TP it was bigger because there were a lot more places to ride and there were also more forced horse segments, but most of the time it was easier to just use wolf form. In BotW they're a fucking joke. In a game with climbing, gliding, and a generous fast travel system, horses are completely redundant.
Enough with the horse meme, bring back Pegasus Boots.
How about horses in MGS V? Did you use them?
How about fish?
... got a version without the watermark?
I texted my uncle that works for Nintendo and he should get back to me in a few hours.
>can't store a bear
>or elk
>or stalfos horse
>or the cool god kelbi thing
Fuck you game.
>Pegasus Boots
My nigga.
>Finally tame Lore of the Mountain
>Spend 10 minutes maneuvering him down off the mountain to an actual road
>Stables won't let me keep him
I still feel cheated.
