Cygames grinding autism didn't strike home this time like it did with Granblue

The promotion was really lackluster as was support for the game. The reason GranBlue or Azur Lane have gotten as far as they have is because of the amount of crossovers and special events they had and the waifus/husbandos.

Wish it would've expanded to the switch or PC, but if it dies it dies.

Literally lost in the name of the game.

I dunno about that user, but when I tried it when it first came out it was literal hours of grinding every day for the entirety of the event duration and even then I wasn't even close to maxing out the event rewards.
Maybe it got better, don't know or care, it lost me when it was most vital that they keep me.

I started playing during the MH collab on the second to last day and cleared out the entire event by the end of it, just playing casually most of the time and then putting effort into the challenge quests
Now with this current event I'm just autoing the quests, maybe 5-10 a day which takes about 10 minutes and it gives me all the goodies
I wouldn't be playing this game if it was a grind hell which sounds like it was, glad it changed

Stale events and a million fucking reruns is a really good reason to quit. The only fun content is the endgame bosses, but only a small percentage of the playerbase does them, since they were too hard for most players so a ton of people quit. Imagine having to fail a boss for 6 hours straight until you get your first clear; that's what it was like.

Though now they swung the pendulum too far in the other direction, and the latest boss ended up being so easy that he's boring as shit. The game literally can't find a good balance between too hard and too easy.

I just can't physically do them. Learning how to dodge High Dragon attacks and perform specific counter maneuvers, having to farm out an insane amount of Void battle items to complete a single anti-dragon weapon, etc.
I'd say it hits a bizarre point where the new content managed to be too hard for most players still but also manage to bore the players who already were going ham on the Master HDTs.

Unironically this. Having revives in Master is alright but everywhere else means shit players don't want to put in effort. Why play the game when some guy who's grinded endgame weapons 12 hours a day for the past 5 months can do it for you? Unfortunately, what shitters don't realize about this is it doesn't get them anywhere closer to actually clearing content because they still play like shit. Shitters then proceed to file complaints about endgame being TOO HARD and this process repeats itself until OKD and the Deragari dev team implements weapons or something that lets you clear the fight in the first 5 seconds.

tl;dr - shitters want all the benefits that come with endgame equipment without doing anything for it, then proceed to brag about having high might even though they're still shit

I'm not talking about Chimeratech, I'm talking about completing a single dragon's bane weapon, i.e. a MUB elemental 5* bane weapon that requires upwards of 100 runs. Which is stupid and takes too much time.

You have to realize that for a new player, i.e. what they want to keep the game alive as older players drop, the question changes to

People don't like that. I know FEH is shit now but consider how low the bar for "high" level content is. Any player, even a new one, can clear most abyssals and build themselves some proper units easily, and they're given 2 teams worth of 5* units on joining the game. The barrier of entry is low, which is generally expected of a phone game.

The devs can't figure out who they're trying to appeal to so they just go back and forth. Shitters quit because the game was too hard for them, then the devs decided to appeal to them after they already left, to the dismay of the people that actually stayed because they enjoyed the hard content and wanted to see more of it. The people who quit aren't coming back, so why even bother catering to them anymore?

Now literally all of the content is easy. Volk came out back in December and was fucking brutal, but a well-designed fight with no gay shit like mHDTs. Now Kai Yan on the other hand is a joke.

Yeah but granting a new player access to endgame "high" level content doesn't mean jack squat in Deragari. What ends up happening is:

>Get past might filter for HDT master rooms
>Die constantly because they're shit
>Room disbands
>Veterans are frustrated with having to deal with shitters
>Shitters are frustrated because of content
>The latter will certainly and the former might drop the game

No, I still enjoy it, I'm criticizing the parts that need work because I want it to improve rather than getting worse. Saying something negative doesn't mean you want it to die.

That's why they added practice difficulties for stuff like HDTs. If a player cannot access content in the first place to LEARN how to not be shit or at least not die, then they will always end up shitting the bed when it comes time to clear it. That's the theory anyway, behind giving them fancy weapons.
