There's a million other reasons I would go to hell for.
imagine thinking god would punish his children that he sent his own begotten son to die for with torturous hell
guys this isnt real is it?? i cheated so much in gta san andreas guys please say it isnt real
Yes
I cheated a lot using Gameshark and Game Genie. It taught me hexadecimal hacking which I've used pretty extensively in computer science. Cheaters never prosper is a fucking outdated idiom.
Cheat wouldn't even be the icing on the cake
God here
I only send shitposters to hell
god loves his children
no sin can outweigh his love
>NOOOOOOOOOO PLEASE OH GOD I SHOULDNT HAVE PIRATED AND EMULATED ALL THOSE GAMES HUNDREDS OF TIMES TO MAKE THE COMPANIES GO BANKRUPT
except when you refuse to listen then he throws the biggest autism fit to ever grace the planet apparently, the controlling bitch
the fuck are you talking about?
satan rebelling and trying to make others rebel?
pics or it didn't happen
I always found the idea of god to be a strange guy; he punishes people for acts he knew they would commit before they were even born?
>2020
>still believing in sky daddy
*tips*
>not wanting sky daddy to give you his holy cummies
people have free agency to do what they please
Here sir I believe you dropped this
so he isn't omnipotent then?
The Jews killed him.
>le fedora tip xD
none of you guys go to church on Sunday. be honest with yourselves.
Thank fuck loli wives are okay in the Bible
Heaven, here I come
>still not understanding that pre-marital sex and contraceptives are leading factors in your parent's divorce.
he is, but life on earth is a test
Itll be fine as long as u follow the traffic signals in all gta
if I don't believe in god am I supposed to be a fedora wearer? is this really the american mindset?
so he is both omnipotent but at the same time doesn't know whats going to happen? I think you may need to look into what the term omnipotent means
The fuck is the point of the test if you know the outcome? Isn't God supposed to be all knowing?
I don't think there even exist a million reasons for anything
it's a test for the individual
>You will live like the angels in Heaven, who do not marry or have sexual tendencies, thoughts, or visions
WHAT DO YOU MEAN I DON'T HAVE A SOUL HOW CAN THIS BE NO STOPPPPPPPPPPP
what purpose does a test serve if the person administering it knows what result the person will get before they start it? and then why punish them for getting a bad grade if you knew what grade they would get from before the test started?
I like to view it as a sort of rewards game. God knows your ultimate outcome but you do not. He knows what ultimate happiness or doom you will inevitably will face, but you do not. So I strive to see the eternal happiness, see what it feels like
also because I don't wanna burn forever for masturbating 10 times a day for my life
uh oh
pic rel
AAAAAAHHHH OH GOD ALL I DID WAS INSTALL THE 4K POTATO TEXTURE MOD FOR SKYRIM
The Unforgivable Sin:
Matthew 12:30-32: "Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters. And so I tell you, any sin and blasphemy can be forgiven. But blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.
that sounds like the most sadistic game ive ever heard of, even by your own view of it he is sending people to an eternal suffering for failing a test he set them up to take knowing they would fail; why make those people exist in the first place if they are going to suffer forever because of it
that's literally unrelated
he knows all possible outcomes but your free to choose what path you want to do down also after Jesus sacrificed himself you would have to do something extremely stupid to put yourself in hell everything hes done translates to he doesnt WANT to put you there or give up on us
I honestly laugh to myself when I imagine scenarios like this, where millions of people suffer and die and go to hell. Someone says to me, cries to me, how could God do this, it's unright, it's unjust! And I say:
>Should've believed in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ
But to answer you question, for me, it's the state of knowing, knowing about the test, knowing if you will fail or not, and striving to win. That's how I view it, you know the test is here, you know it's been in front of you for your entire life, yet you still fail
>Implying time is linear
no it isn't, it's faith
there's a difference between not yet learning and being against god
>Should've believed in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ
and what of the people born in places where that isn't a known idea; is everyone born in japan before christian ideals made their way there automatically doomed forever because they were born in a place and time before jesus was an option for them?
That's not what he's saying.
If life on earth is a test, then it is needlessly cruel. God is omnipotent, yes? Which means he knows everything. Which also means that he knows everything that has and will happen.
So, if he knows what will happen (because that's a part of omnipotency), how is it a good test? If someone is born under this "test", God would already know that they will fail. If he knows they will fail, why subject them to it? Why put them in a test where he already knows the outcome? Plus, why put someone is hell forever for not belieiving in a religion? What about people who never found out about it, or people who only experienced it through one fucked up priest killing them, or something?
>its faith
not an answer to any question posed
No, human's will choose that path, God will not control you, you will be affected by his plan though. The good cannot exist without existence, it's not sadistic. You may get a better answer by an actual theologian.

You can't just condemn me and all my fellow canadians like that
idk then dude sorry
people still need to go through experiences even if he knows what they will go through, some people have more trials than others
My parents are still quite happily married though
If I'm remembering this correctly, in the Bible it was stated that those who did not know of the Lord, truly not know, God would not punish them for that and he would forgive them. But it would be up to them to live the best and most righteous path they could
Maybe God decided to black that part out, seeing who makes it. I'm not entirely sure and yes, life is very cruel. We can't say for sure whether or not it's good because who are we to define what is good? Sure a collective agreement could suffice, but what authority gave us permission to say it's good?
But to try and answer your question, I think that we have been given the ability to change our outcomes. I don't think God is that cruel, I'm sure he's given people chance to change their fates. Think of it as time travel, you see the future, which gives you opportunity to change it, by looking at events which cause that future to happen
What about all other religions, or even denominations of the same religion? What if I live an exemplary Christian life, but I go to hell anyway because I didn't believe in Muhammad? How do I know which one to believe in?
everyone thinks their own religion is correct
what you are asking is an unanswerable question that everyone asks themselves I think, just pray
According to them, yes. Anyone that ever lived and died in a place where for chances of destiny the religion never even got there are and were doomed to an eternity in the worst place in existence, suffering for the evil sin of being born from the wrong vagina.
Enjoy Hell faggot
He isn't saying that God will control people. He's arguing that, if God is omnipotent, why is there a test? If he knows everything, he knows who will and who will not "pass". He knows, regardless of human interference, the result of it.
So why even hold the test? Better yet, why give birth to people who you KNOW are going to go to Hell for eternity?
It isn't an issue of whether people should strive to pass or not. The issue is that God's omnipotency shows him exactly what would occur, which means he knows that you would fail or pass. Ergo, it's fucked up to have someone, who God knows will fail, take the test, or even be born in the first place.
if you are able to make choices that god doesn't know the outcome too before hand then god is not omnipotent. if he is omnipotent then your free will is an illusion and he has simply gifted you with the feeling of choice, those statements are mutually exclusive. if statement A is true then we are lab rats in a test run by a sadist who despite his infinite love has no problem making beings so insignificant compared to himself worship him or suffer forever, an act that if a human were to due it towards a lesser lifeform would be deemed as a monster. If statement B is true then he seems to just be playing a large scale game of the sims where our suffering or joy is irrelevant because he makes everyone go through them regardless; a third option where life exists without a god is possible and with that option you have to come to terms with making your own meaning of existence where there isn't some divine plan for your actions
>Why put them in a test where he already knows the outcome?
he knows all possible outcomes yes but hes not controlling you alot of people dont understand how much a gift free will is he wants you to enjoy existence and realize why goodness is the right choice
>Plus, why put someone in hell forever for not belieiving in a religion? What about people who never found out about it
even if you never heard about him its said inside you can feel whats right or wrong know that voice a majority of the people down here ignore for there own selfishness?thats God pleading with you.Going to church, paying tribute, praising his name doesnt get you into heaven at the end of existence only your actions while alive will stand.
>or people who only experienced it through one fucked up priest killing them, or something?
Dont mix up peoples evil with God again people really dont understand free will. They will get punished dont join them on that path
According to the Bible, him dying was supposed to happen.
But what if... you believe everything?
BTW doesn't this belong in /x/
> just pray
Nah, I'll just fap to fat anime tiddies instead.
>believing in an all powerful God that killed his son
I mean what the fuck, thats a redflag that your leader has massive mental issues.
>believing that an all powerful God that killed his son
Yes.
I mean he still punishes people but only until they can be redeemed
That sort of makes sense. But then he is not omnopotent. Omnipotency means he knows everything.
Also, the authority to know what is "good" doesn't seem very good to me. If there is an objective morality that says that allowing someone to be born just to go to hell is good, then I don't want that goodness. That's cruelty in my eyes.
Why even do that? Why send someone to an eternity of hellfire and suffering over a vague, contradictory test that is not only finite, but can't even be agreed upon?
Even if someone committed murder for every second of their lives, that's still a finite amount of lives, in a finite amount of time. Yet they must suffer eternally?
Not even a thousand years per sin is arguably terrible, since it isn't eternity. Eternity is just, forever. How is it fair, to suffer forever from the results of such a flawed test, one where you don't know the rules, you don't know whether it is real, and which is finite as opposed to the infinite suffering awaiting you?
He also allows the existence of flies that eat children's eyes.
Honestly kind of a dick if you ask me.
it depends on what religion you are talking about
god loves his children, he doesn't make sinners suffer in every religion
NOOOOOO GOD IM SO SORRY I SHOULD HAVE NEVER HAVE GONE THE EVIL ROUTE IN HYPERDIMENSION NEPTUNIA 2 AAAHHHHHHH GOD PLEASE I DONT WANT TO BURN FOREVER
SAAVVVEEEE MEEEEEEEE
So you're arguing that he knows all outcomes, that it isn't set in stone whether you will or won't go to heaven or hell?
Also, by the fucked up priest, I meant if someone only ever know of Christianity through the atrocities commited in it's name. If someone has their whole family killed by Christians, never finds out what it actually means, and hates them on their deathbed, do they go to hell?
Also see this post, since I'd like to know your stance on it
t. matthew
mortal words written by mortal hands pretending they are the words of god
>he knows all possible outcomes yes but hes not controlling you alot of people dont understand how much a gift free will is he wants you to enjoy existence and realize why goodness is the right choice
then he isn't omnipotent; if he doesn't know what choice you are going to make then he isn't all knowing, If I made a video game with 4 choices you can make in it, do I become omnipotent for knowing all the possible choices you could make despite not knowing which ones you will take? if a being did create our existence why would he create a universe so vast and beyond human recognition and then only care about what some tiny creatures did on a single rock out of the countless planets
