Discounting the fact its coming off the back of BFA of all fucking things, any small amount of hype they could have generated is dead, stemming from the fact they're being incredibly fucking vague about what's even in this expansion. There's no one truly defining feature about Shadowlands outside of the wishywashy promise it "wont be BFA."
Going even further, if anyone was hyped even after that, they've not said fucking anything since Blizzcon. Alpha/beta are really late considering their launch window and news has been pretty much nothing, and this is with 8.3 in the back crashing and burning.

It isn't free. I paid for that BFA garbage, they owe me for the bait and switch

Blizzard, who hasn't made a decent game in 12 years.

You won't find hype for nuwow on Yas Forums, only daily seething threads merely because it exists.

Reminder that the developers are on record for being "happy with the way things turned out" on every single aspect of BFA that players hated, there's no hope for this game period

There's more hype for the release of ZG on classic servers, that's how utterly dead this new expansion will be.
