Next update drops next week. Look into the rest, but trust me as someone whose played since Final Beta, it's a solid game if you don't mind putting in like 4-6 hours for a good return/experience. Sailing isn't long but takes a bit from one side to the other, but that's part of the fun.

Honestly the better parts of the SoT community is on Discord (which is why I say if you do get the game NEVER do public matchmaking, it's horrible). But I mean look into the official SoT discord that Reddit and Rare use, and from there you'll find the occasional advert for specific communities to join.
Or you can have a chill time doing Solo on a Sloop like I do when I'm not sailing with my server mates.

Not exactly in video games but I found a really small let's play YT channel and started mass disliking his videos using my fake YT accounts until he closed it, he even uploaded a few videos addressing me personally asking me to stop but I just continued.
