3 is okay, it's not as bad as people make it out to be but it's nothing amazing. Rage Wars I had a blast with and would enjoy being able to netplay it.

Turok 3 has worse SP than 1 and 2 and worse MP than Rage Wars; it has nothing to offer.

I think the best course of action for Rage Wars would be to remaster it and give it away for free to anyone who owns Turok 1 or 2, or 3 if the remaster that too.

There was a Turok 4... It's Evolution. It didn't age that well, honestly. At least it was ahead of it's time to feature a Gravity gun before Valve by 2 years.

Evolution isn't 4. It's canonically a prequel to Dinosaur Hunter.

Why would they be? Retro doesn't even own the rights to the old turok games they lost them when Acclaim went under. They are too busy with Metroid Prime 4 to make anything else and Nintendo would never spent the resources to acquire the rights for a new game.

Obviously OP is not true but I could see Nightdive wanting Retro to do a new Turok since Retro is made up of old Iguana members.

Second game was posted today and it seems it'll be a new IP and it will work on an engine from 1998 (but it won't be released anytime soon). Lead artist from Duke 3D and Half-Life is working here btw

Turok 3 could have been great, but Iguana was imploding at the time. I think it may have been one of the glitchiest releases on the N64. You can just feel the studio meddling as you play it. It’s almost like a modern AAA title, but there were no patches to fix it l.

I doubt it. Their prior retro-FPS games were based on open source engines, but they would need a license for Unreal assuming that is even possible. Also good luck finding documentation.

Wrong. RW was the best console MP FPS game at the time. While it didn't have all the options of Perfect Dark, it had better level design and cooler, more variety weapons.

God no. Rage wars is remarkably shit. I know because i play it every time to test out n64s that come in to my store. The game also runs like utter shit with just one person playing. Goldeneye at least has the excuse of being a fun game despite the performance.
