Saddam was doing okay, they had high literacy, good healthcare, hated Kurds, hated Israel, not overly religious unless it suited them. 1-Iraq would have easily been a utopia if it weren't for all the wars so the Arabs can run a country, biases aside look at the Gulf states and Saudi Arabia their people are very happy. Iraq was considered the jewel of the Arab world before and even during the Iran-Iraq war
2-Iraq was thrown into the wolves to be torn apart after it's it's government was brought down so you can't really blame them, everyone who had interest in Iraq took a bite and now nobody knows what's happening anymore

Well as someone who is a member of the Iraqi Christian minority, I'd rather have Americans who we closely share the same interests than Muslims who seek to destroy us, and yes I unabashedly helped the US Army back then, but its a lost cause, was so when Obama was elected, deep down I knew he would bow down to muslims and let them control us again.

Sadam's Baath party was Shiite and when the US toppled them they were all severley punished and replaced with Sunnis but guess what??
