I imagine that most of the people are lefty types and they don't see these characters the same way that you or I do. They see them acting shitty but think they're good guys especially if they're shitting on white people or something. Meanwhile someone that people here would generally like would be seen as abhorrent by those people (especially if the character is white and not a cuck or weak).

For a real life example, look at someone like Trump and put yourselves in the shoes of a pro-Trump boomer (I mean a LITERAL civnat sort of boomer) compared to a "progressive".

I never said they didnt, I was just wondering why the most outwardly liberal characters were also the most intentionally unlikable ones, given Netflix's reputation for being really woke. When the Byrdes start getting political in season 2 to lobby for their casino, they mention several times how dirty they feel having to work with a conservative republican to get it done, and the conservative republican seems like a genuinely okay guy especially for a politician. Seems unlikely that they would want you to make that association in your head. But that user that suggested it might be an easy way of generating nuance and character depth for a presumably liberal audience was probably right.
