Swing State Citizens

Anyone here living in a swing state, based on your day to day conversations, who do you think will win your state?

Well the polls say Trump will lose. But by a far less margin than 2016. Which translates to Trump will win by a landslide.

FL user here, we're going blue in 2020 beyond almost any shade of doubt. After the 2016 election we gave 1.5 million felons (read: mostly nonwhites, read: mostly democrats) their right to vote back. Trump only won 2016 by a margin of 100,000. Add onto this the Puerto Rican fugees from the big hurricane and the usual influx of shitskins and it's all but certain. People who think we're still a true "swing state" are coping, we are now a "lean blue" state.

But do you not think republicans winning the U.S senate and gubernatorial elections in 2018 couldn’t translate to Florida voting red again in 2020?

That combined with him only winning michigan, which has only gotten less white, by 10k votes last time really makes me wonder. I'm getting all my ducks in order in anticipation that he's not going to win, if he does win then it'll be a pleasant surprise but if he doesn't then at least I was ready for it.

Focus on the 3 "leans D" states - any _one_ of them gives the (D) candidate the win

Absolutely not, midterms have less attendance and thus favor Republicans (especially in a state full of old people who vote every single time they have a chance to do so). With the 2020 election will come the return of the apolitical liberal normies who will vote Biden because "drumpft bad" and they will secure the Dem victory. Furthermore, at the time of the senate & gubernatorial elections, the felon issue was unresolved due to an attempt to thwart them from all voting through the use of fees that barred them from voting, these have been ruled "unconstitutional" within the past year and are no longer a barrier.

>Michigan
Although I can't claim to be an expert on their status, I'm fairly certain Michigan will flip back as well. Niggers did not show up for Hillary, but will likely show up for Biden because of the constant reminders that he was Obama's VP, nigs absolutely adore him.

I always find it so odd that Cuck Jersey is a blue state. This place is like New York’s trailer park and it’s filled with a bunch of racist hicks.

Kuru tongue evident here to

Michigander here, Biden threatened to punch a union member, Trump gave niggers gibs, and Shitmer is very unpopular I see us going Red

>Colorado Red
yeah, nah
>As long as he holds on to Florida.
As I said earlier, that's not going to happen. Pennsylvania has a much better chance of being red than Florida though, so maybe if you bank on that and Michigan (also more likely than FL at this point by my reckoning) you'll get something feasible.

Ffs I keep messing up the map and realizing after I’ve posted

This is as close as trump could possibly get based on polling to still win the election. He couldn’t do it with PA alone if he lost Florida. So if you’re right about Florida’s turn, you think his best bet is campaigning hard in the Midwest on jobs?

Yeah, a Michigan red again I think really could pretty much solidify trump the White House in 2020.

That's fair enough, i'll defer to your wisdom for your own state. I also think that if there's any group that might try their luck with Trump again, it would be the rust-belter Whites who've gotten invested in him and have been wholly abandoned by the Dems in turn. The "FL=red" shit has really got to stop though, it's simply not going to happen, we are too brown and now with felons voting it's a done deal.

Pic related is the map that I think is "most doable" for Trump to win, though not necessarily my final prediction, it is the best I believe Trump can reasonably do without making any super-risky bets (I also ignored the Maine second/third district or whatever its called, since it's irrelevant).

>you think his best bet is campaigning hard in the Midwest on jobs?
Yeah, that'd be my plan if I was him. There really aren't any other avenues to pursue.

I think you’re exactly right about this. As someone from AL, it just hurts me to see FL go blue but I really only hang around the panhandle lmao so I haven’t seen true Florida.

If hes loses michigan & florida, what would he need to compensate for that? Can he compensate for that?

He would have to win Virginia.

Ohio will be DARK RED -

History tells us whoever wins Ohio, wins the election.

>haven't seen true Florida
You aren't missing much, most of this state is trash now. Luckily I currently live in one of the whiter counties, but I've lived all over here.

>hurts to see Florida go blue
Meh, who cares really? It's all the same, political theater is a joke, the Republicans are no better than the Dems (possibly worse even, since they lull boomers into a false sense of security). I certainly am not going to bother voting for (((Biden))) or (((Trump))), I just enjoy theory-crafting and making predictions.

NC here, Raleigh, Greensboro, and Charlotte have been getting flooded with yanks and H-1B recipients for the past few years, I’m honestly not sure what’ll happen here

There were plenty, he just failed to do any of them

Just shut your mouth. You probably said the same thing in 2016
inb4 "i said trump had a 100% chance of winning fl in 2016 so you have to believe what im saying now"

Trump takes PA easily

I agree, politics is a game and both sides play. The main reason I prefer Trump is 1. Not a globalist
2. Democrats are more big government, which I’ve seen with my own eyes in Alabama even with republicans, leads to ridiculous amounts of crony capitalism. That’s what Americans politics has been run on for generations, your family getting wealthy and you selling your seat. It still is now on all levels of politics. But Trump is so hated I really don’t think he’s able to have these types of coordinations with state department officials like every president in history has been able to which I think is ultimately a good thing. If Biden were to get elected, he wouldn’t be control of anything, his cabinet which is full of Obama era financial big wigs that sold out the country in 2008 would control everything. And John Kerry running America’s foreign policy again.. I don’t think so.

GA user here. We came very close to electing pic related as our governor. This year’s election is going to be extremely tight.

The GOP voting block is aging and shrinking, while new Dem voters (spics, pajeets) move in every day thanks to our “based” president not cracking down on immigration.

Even if Georgia goes red this year, it’ll turn into another California/New York by 2024.

At the end of the day, your stance of ehh I’m above the game of politics I refuse to play. Is worse then being a partisan hack.

Yeah, even Birmingham is nothing like Atlanta. ATL has gotten ridiculous.

That's not how Muttland politics work lad, there is no Republican platform which will get niggers and spics to "turn red". His only chance of security was a strong enough economy to get the apolitical white normies back out to vote and Coronachan fucked that up

>wahh just shut up
>no counterargument
>foreign flag
Wow mate, very convincing stuff you've got there. You've soundly defeated my arguments by implying that I'm a shill, I must retreat now.

Trump is a globalist though, and not at all opposed to "big government" (though I don't see that as a negative) Size of government is much less relevant than direction of government, and I'd prefer the "big government" of Hitler over the "small government" of Milton Friedman as president.

They have to pay court fees or something

Trump isn’t a globalist though lol. He’s the first president in American history to put working class Americans economic interests over the interests of the free market that’s been manipulated by China for the past 30 years. Also totally different stance on the E.U., NATO, trade deals that benefitted lesser nations like NAFTA. I mean I could go on and on how he’s a nationalist, anyone would say he’s a nationalist.

I think it is smart to over estimate Bidens support but as he continues to mentally collapse especially with debates there is a good chance he doesn't draw out nearly as much support as even clinton, black voters are not loyal to Biden like they were obama. So I'm banking on a lot of states with white Kennedy Democrats going red because they will not be willing to vote for a dementia ridden Biden

That's not my stance at all. My stance is that the two major American political parties are largely the same and controlled opposition. Choosing between the market neoliberals (Republicans) and the social neoliberals (Democrats) is not a choice at all. What are their major differences? The only ones I can think of are:
-the precise tax rate (dems prefer a few points higher than repubs)
-the accessibility of trans bathrooms

Trump, but from how they say it, sounds more out of spite than wanting him

Pittsburgh is a weird city
