Vaping might be the better choice to get nicotine in your system, but it is known to cause inflammations, which, even if just benign, likely aren't helping your body in case of an infection either. If you trust the french, a nicotine patch is probably the way to go, unless you smoke already anyways, in which case, you might as well at least switch to vaping.
