There's no way this government is going to keep us in level 3 for longer, or go back to level 4. Unless they want to completely collapse the already fragile economy and lose the election this year.
it's super dependent on the cases that arise in the next couple of weeks. it would be wise to stay at level 3 if a new surge was to arise, australia has proven that life and cases can co-exist and we now have the systems in place to deal with this. however they would have the optics to pull off another stint of level 4 if it was required.
went to mcdonalds this evening. got worried when I saw an endless line of cars going around the corner. but they were just all in line for kfry. there was like 4 cars in maccas drive through and legit 80 cars in line for kfry. my guess is people that had already been waiting an hour didn't have the balls to give up and drive the extra 20 meters to get instant maccas. to be fair it is dole day.

A lot of business owners and other workers will lose their shit if they tried to lock down harder again. I think there's only so much most of us can take and we've at least been given the ideal it'll only last for a few more weeks, so we just deal with it.
Most of the people who want the lockdown to last longer are the unemployed, or the people still being paid anyway, who don't have to deal with the financial consequences.

agreed, kfry does the worst fucking chips out of anywhere, you could go to the shittest fish and chips shop with burnt grease and they'd manage to do it better than kfry, half the time they forget the salt, the other half its like they dump the whole salt shaker on 1 serving.

Not here they don't. The Wendy's where I am is always dead as fuck and I'm sure the chips are sitting in the fryer for ages, because the times I have gone there, the chips taste dry as fuck. On the other hand, I do love me a good Baconator.
