Most people who are homeless for longer than a few months want to be homeless and can't/don't want to work. They would likely just spend it all on booze or drugs or insanity.

The people who end up being homeless who REALLY do not want to be homeless tend to be either temporary for just a few month, or just become van/car livers. Some people of course do slip through the cracks. People with their shit together tend to not completely sink in their life.

I remember them kicking this dude off the lot near Waffle House not long ago, dude was bothering nobody.

I saw one of those on the sidewalk in California. It looked like a heavy duty cart with white walls and clear windows. Nobody fucked with it AFAIK. He was literally on the cutout pavement next to the sidewalk by a shipping center. Not even hiding .

In Oregon, a year and a half ago, you could have bought 2 lbs of mid to low grade bud at dispensary prices for $1600, at 1 $50 ounce per day for 32 days. Black market is much cheaper and these days better quality, $1500 would have been a decent deal for 2lbs of mid-high quality homegrown which would pass for dispensary top shelf if cured and trimmed right.
These days, with OLCC not handing out commercial grow licenses, prices are up and I'd expect to pay $3200/lb or more at dispensary prices. Not sure what black market looks like as I don't buy weed often enough to care.
