That's how the FBI does everything, notes. Then they go back in and change the notes for your interrogation and make you say whatever they wanted you to say. It'd be easy to put a tape recorder in the interrogation room but of course they don't do that, because that would make it really hard to come back and change shit to frame people. Which is what the FBI appears to do on a regular basis.
Best course of action? Never ever talk to the FBI for any reason because there's no telling if some FBI goon has it in for you and will just change the 302's to make you "say" whatever they wanted you to say. If they threaten you with crimes just keep quiet anyway. No point in saying anything if they can just change it.
It's extremely damaging to the FBI and the credibility of our legal system but there's no consequences for it yet so why take the risk? Never talk to the FBI. Ever.
