That guy was being hostile to the cop as well. But it is true, often times police are too hostile when they start asking people in public places questions. You have surveillance. If you think someone is a problem just tag them and wait. Police confronting and questioning people seems like it saves money and time, but it just creates problems and confusion.

There are plenty of good cops. But I agree with police are not your friends. If they're engaging you, just keep your mouth shut (at least in America). ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS speak to an attorney. ALWAYS. NO EXCEPTIONS. GET A FUCKING LAWYER. You have no idea how many times some dumbass could've avoided trouble if he just shut the fuck up and got a lawyer. I mean ffs most of them have FREE CONSULTATIONS. They literally offer pro bono consultations. As long as you didn't do anything heinous or obvious enough to immediately end up detained and in criminal court, that's a fucking get out of jail free card.

no there arent just because theyre your friends or nice to you theyre not good, good police get fired or killed for speaking out against corruption while the 'good' ones conform and remain silent while the bad ones do what they want to do

Maybe if you're a brainlet w/ zero charisma. I've been pulled over 15 times and have been able to talk my way out of a ticket each and every time. The key is making them laugh at least once. They're just people and kinda easy to manipulate.
