If you have some money:
a)
get a secondhand RV / camper
pay loan if you have to - it's quite literally more sane than paying rent

b)
buy a tent & survival gear

if you have nothing:
a)
Sell anything you know you won't need while you still can - use the money to prepare accordingly by stocking up on matches/lighters, get a warm coat AND a raincoat (probably the most underappreciated piece of clothing in modern world)

b)
Ask your friends, family or locals for alternatives like temporary shelter / lodging or financial assistance

c)
go to the library and read up survival guides

Don't hang out around actual hobos, they are potentially dangerous and you're safer being alone or in the forest

Kill yourself.
Homeless are cancer.

If you haven't already try and figure out what sort of government assistance you might be able to get,and apply for it. Ask for help at churches. find where food is given to the homeless, try not to spend any of your remaining dollars on food. Get warm clothes. If you really cant go back to your family, think about other relatives (cousins, uncles aunts grandparents. even if you've never met them they might help you.

For sleeping go to squatters Houses or Caritas and ask for alberghi popolari, only downthing being they will kick you out at like 7 in the morning

Get to the shelter early in the evening. It fills up.

Just kys now and get it over with. Your healthcare system is overburdened as it is without your filthy tramp ass requiring weekly checks and treatments for gangrenous sores, stab-wounds, HIV and psychosis. Get a fucking grip on your life ASAP or just don't bother with life, as it is literally impossible to be both homeless and productive or of value to anyone.

Don't get into drugs. Don't associate with any other homeless people, because they likely do drugs and will rob you. Stay away from the shelters, because they're full of homeless drug addicts and rapists (a good amount of them are sex offenders). Your chances of becoming the next stabbing/assraping victim go up significantly the second you surround yourself with a bunch of criminals.

Try to stay at hostels or motels, or in the woods before you stay at any free shelter. Just show up for the free food. Look for food banks, church charities, things of the like. Any homeless person that isn't a drug addict can have a ton of jobs thrown at them if they turn to the right resources. It's only the ones that are incapable of working due to drug/alcohol issues, or are not wanted by employers due to criminal record or sex offender status, that cannot get/hold jobs. But idk what the situation in your country will be like, there may be too many homeless people to help. China really fucked us all and sent the world into another goddamn depression.

Consider turning to family as well, nows a good time to stick together. Be one of the hopeful ones who keeps applying for jobs, and you'll get one.

Look for public showers/laundry facilities. I worked for months while homeless doing this and no one suspected a thing. Sleep in a decent neighborhood, but out of the way of people. Good luck. It's rough, but you'll make it.

Working through day labor. The working while getting a HORRIBLE night's sleep each night is pretty bad, but if you can get one good night of sleep per week, it makes a difference. Sometimes I'd pretend I was waiting for a flight at the airport once or twice a week in the less-populated parts of the airport and get a few hours of good sleep. Also, stay 100% sober. Not even alcohol.

I was homeless in a VERY expensive part of the US. Hostels had time limits for how long you could stay (which I used up), and hotels/short-term rentals are brutally expensive. After 3 months of hell, I had enough $$$ to be certain that even if I was laid off again, I wouldn't be homeless. Paid a few months rent up front.

Remember, all you need to survive is a bit of bread and some water.
