Why isn't the economy crashing?
THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING
It's a dead cat bounce, don't buy until we tell you to.
Every day new evidence comes out proving it's just the flu. The hoax can't keep up much longer, and people were already losing their patience.
Central banks working hard
Hell, my retirement is nearly back to the level it was before this bullshit, I picked up a bunch of extra pay covering for Sallies that didn't want to come to work, this is great. Let's do this every year.
hahaha brrrrrrr
False trips. If you didn't buy when it was at 18k, you missed a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
I was right here telling everyone to buy.
mods deleted the post and everybody called me a faggot.
>worst economy since 1923
>somehow it's not crashing
nothing to see here it's not the jew pumping new money and stealing asset just quarantine while your ancestor country is being conquered
Hahaha brrrrrrr line go up
Pretty much this. It bottomed out at 18.5k. The retards that keep calling every surge a "dead cat bounce" are simply coping.
It already did. It's recovering now.
You still are a faggot for ruining people's lives during a dead cat bounce.
>>HURRR DURRRRR I'M A INVESTOR, I INVESTED THE 150$ MOM GOT ME INTO PENNY STOCK.
stonks keep raising will oil is at an all time low
"the economy" is fake numbers put out by central planners
stock markets are just lines on a screen which go up and down
money isn't real, but its purchasing power is (for now)
price of stocks rising = price of money falling
Gilead made a breakthrough in the Covid research and the stock market reacted positively to it.
we'll have 50 million unemployed and the stock market with record highs
>>It hasn't tanked in like 3 days. How could a dead cat bounce not happen within my arbitrary time frame.
Just like smoking doesn't cause cancer because you don't get cancer after smoking 2 days of cigarettes.
Don’t buy. Hmmmph. I already sold. 15,000 dollars worth of cruise liner stock I sold because the stocks were up 10%. They can’t possibly go higher of course. I’m going to buy them back when they return to original value. Whatever stock you have right now sell. But it back in 1-3 days trust me this is good advice obviously you probably knew this already
T R U M P B U X
You got something against capitalism rich folks? Your acting like the only people who suffer are the same ones the rich use to buffer discomfort from themselves, like every crisis.
No this one's different... I'm sure.
Venezuela's stock market went up because their money was becoming worthless as they printed and printed. Same shit here. There will be no market crash, only supply chain interruptions and misery until there is violence.
>>welfare*
You don't get to pretend you're not a nigger by calling your welfare something else.
this economy 2.0 basics user.
the number of unemployed people is inverse proportional to the DOW numbers.
when 99% of people are unemployed the DOW will be at 150k
Let's skip it all then and just neck the parasitic oligarchs. We gonna suffer either way, might as well be French revolution suffering as opposed to indentured servitude suffering.
Lmao just wait until we try to “re-open” without the adequate protocol. This is the very beginning. We are going to be battling coronavirus for the next 2+ years. Stop being a child and so short sighted.
Why wasn't this inverse relationship true a few months ago when stonks were at record highs and unemployment at record lows?
>two more weeks
This is also the point this faggot misses. Without rampant spending there is no hyper inflation. Every faggot out there with a little extra money is tying it up into stocks, retirement accounts and any other liquidity trap. The Fed can print trillions and it doesn't matter because that money will never see the streets all at once, only little by little over the years.
Anyone struggling can be bailed out individually, or the small businesses can get bailed out so people can have jobs or whatever. Of course not all at once, and a lot of people will be miserable and probably die from health issues or suicide, but society doesn't collapse all at once.
I don’t understand why people say our money will become worthless. The worth of the dollar comes from the faith in the US. It doesn’t have real value. It’s the reserve currency, if it fails the entire world would fail.
Because central banks all over the world are printing money like no tomorrow and part of that money if not most of it flows to the paper markets.
Soon the general peoole own nothing and banks own it all. A true slave population.
The unemployment is at record high, the economies are crashing and the stock markets are stable. Should ring a bell, it doesent make much sense. Who is buying?
I mean think about it, everyday we get news how people cant pay their rent or mortgage or car payments. Stocks are peoples savings and when people run out of currency they liquidate their savings.
Tl;dr its the joos
>welfare
Never been on it. Paid into it for decades. I earned it, fag
the formula is:
DOW stonks= 1/unemployed * BRRRTT-factor
lol I bought the s&p500 at 2700, nice try though
>oh there are record-breaking numbers of unemployment? there are mass shutdowns of businesses literally preventing any economic activity from happening? well the stock market is up so the economy is doing fine
Cuz it’s fake, billionaires use it to steal wealth from poor people. Of course they won’t let it crash
Once in a lifetime? As if. There will be bigger happenings. Nothing makes sense right now anyway, catching a falling knife is usually a bad gamble.
Well, when government gives you no strings attached monies since 2008 in the trillions and you buy back your company stocks causing them to rise the stock market as a whole goes up. Been doing this for 12 years and going to keep doing it because that's how Wall Street rolls.
even worse. people have money now and can't go out and by lots of stuff with it.
smells like Weimar
this is also my take
they managed to contain it in the cities because of the draconian quarantine measures
expect a new wave every two weeks till the companies eventually run out of employees
the economical impact will likely be the same, if not worse, as shutting everything down
quarantined people could work, sick people cant
Old image, but can you guess where we are on the chart right now Yas Forums?
If you "bought the dip", sell soon before it all starts rolling downhill.
Most of the public lives paycheck to paycheck and spends every last dime they have. Only a small portion of boomers and financially disciplined millennials will actually save/invest their stimulus. The rest of the money is going to the PPP directly to mostly low income workers at SBs. Finally the fed is loaning out money at 0% interest which will pad large companies' lines of credit to sustain operations and will go directly back into the economy. Stock buybacks are forbidden under the new stimulus plan.
>I don’t understand why people say our money will become worthless. The worth of the dollar comes from the faith in the US. It doesn’t have real value. It’s the reserve currency, if it fails the entire world would fail.
What if, maybe not the entire world but a significant percentage, fails before our money fails? Like India, Africa, Turkey, some Latin American countries, due to oil price collapse and supply chain interruptions?
trumptards are retarded. Q1 GDP was down 4.8% and Q2 will be down 30-40%. Go look at the harare and caracas stock markets during collapse and hyper inflation btw.
Falling commodity prices are amortizing the rise of inflation.
Things will seem normal for a few months but it will crash in due time.
how would you like a job in a missile factory, faggot?
Now show me that graph 2000 days after peak. Buying for long term gains is the only reasonable investment strategy. Everything else is roulette.
Millions of people are likely already immune. Re-infections were found to be dead remnants of the virus.
I was about to say that American cities are nothing like Harare or Caracas but they are
>Get cheap money
>Buy scrap gold
>File for bankruptcy and get bailed out
Crack open your gold bars Switzerland and watch people reeeeing in the background
The things I would do if I had no morals user... I would be a rich man
It won't be a "collapse" btw. But it will be very slow growth out of Q2 2020. Think of it as a Nike Swoosh.
This. Even it's 1929, I'm not retiring for decades. I would have loved to buy stocks all through the 30s, then retire a very rich man in the 40s/50s.
