The Scriptures say that in prophecy to God a thousand years is as a day and a day a thousand years.
Which means to God time is relative and he doesn't view time the same way we do.
If he made the sun and the earth than he gave us a time period to work with. That doesn't mean it's the same for him.
But that now that his creation is made he keeps track of it in terms of thousand years to a day.
However during creation and before it why would he bother?
There was no earth moving around the sun to keep track of "time"

So before and during it would just be a period of time and then another period of time, where the word day is.

It is, but only genuine Christianity. There are many beliefs that parade themselves around as being genuine representatives of Christianity, the majority of which can only trace their roots back to the 1500s. These beliefs fail to convey the full truth and as such cannot be said to be the "final truth". Roman Catholicism, for all it's benefit to western society, likewise fails to meet the standard for final truth, in that it abandoned ecumenism to attain political and thus worldly powers. Only Orthodoxy can trace it's roots back to the apostles of Christ themselves while also maintaining the tradition and teachings of the church of Christ. While the individual judgements that split the Romans from the rest of the church seem small, their theological and thus truth-conveying consequences are enormous.
The theology of the Orthodoxy remains internally consistent, just as a Logos-worshiping religion must. It is the only theological system which has this claim to authority, and as such, it is the only thing which can be true in saying it is Christianity, and thus the final truth.
