Is Atlantis the Greeks speak of Britain & Ireland?
Read these dialogues, the dialogues claim to quote Solon, who visited Egypt between 590 and 580 BC; they state that he translated Egyptian records of Atlantis.[20] Written in 360 BC, Plato introduced Atlantis in Timaeus:
>For it is related in our records how once upon a time your State stayed the course of a mighty host, which, starting from a distant point in the Atlantic ocean, was insolently advancing to attack the whole of Europe, and Asia to boot. For the ocean there was at that time navigable; for in front of the mouth which you Greeks call, as you say, 'the pillars of Heracles,' there lay an island which was larger than Libya and Asia together; and it was possible for the travelers of that time to cross from it to the other islands, and from the islands to the whole of the continent over against them which encompasses that veritable ocean. For all that we have here, lying within the mouth of which we speak, is evidently a haven having a narrow entrance; but that yonder is a real ocean, and the land surrounding it may most rightly be called, in the fullest and truest sense, a continent. Now in this island of Atlantis there existed a confederation of kings, of great and marvelous power, which held sway over all the island, and over many other islands also and parts of the continent.
What do you think? It's something worth looking into right? Was this peak Celtish power?
Britbong cope has reached new levels. No, you are not an empire anymore, nobody cares if you leave the EU, Britain is not Atlantis. Please just sink into the ocean you weird fucks.
Why do you let us live in your head Hans? and why on earth do you do it for absolutely free?

this that shit was a frozen wasteland in the times of the egyptians and the civilizations that came before

no, Atlantis is said to have been a highly advanced city. celts were living in mud huts.
no, they could never sail that far back then. look at a map and see where it is. and that's before the suez canal. they'd have to sail all the way to Africa, around africa, and into the Mediterranean. Simply impossible.

Hint: look at maternal haplogroups. alongside paternal haplogroups.

there was a route through lower tunisia whether it was a sea or large river/lake system. this is an extreme map but you can see where the route was before the "disaster" that destroyed atlantis and closed it up
William Gonzalez
Everyone lived in huts, Greeks, Egyptians, Romans lived in huts.
What islands tho? I dont see any Islands that are mentioned?
Exactly, they where mediterraneans, Ive read a little on the topic, is like when the anglosphere meme king Tutankhamon and portray him anglo looking with blue eyes, fucking anglos go suck a dick!!!

plato`s speaking i think is a mixture of real informations(huge island in atlantic-america) and a parabole for his `ideal state`

you wish, Britbong. Your shithole of a country is the spawn of Gog and Magog.

and the one who visited britain is pytheas from marseille.he even speaks for iceland
Nathan Price
doesn't mean anything. if you look at recessive genes/ phenotypes of the guanches and berbers you'll see that they were blond hair/ light eyes at one point. at the time europe was frozen over and sparsely inhabited. north africa was the europe of the day until the "disaster" which may have been a polar shift that eventually created the sahara

Atlantis was supposed to have existed about 4000-3000 years ago. By that time the water level is similar to today. Egypt was not flooded, we obviously have archaeological evidence of land-based Egyptian civilization there for 10,000 years into the past.

How would the Egyptians know of America tho? Also confederation of kings would would link with us because since recorded history we've always had a confederations of trible kings ruling Britain & Ireland.
I'm not going to start a fight with you but... Who helped freed you from the Turks rule again? We also paid off all your debt from that war as well... so maybe before you insult us remember that!!!!

The "climate event" would of already happened by then tho!
>Pytheas, (flourished 300 bc, Massalia, Gaul), navigator, geographer, astronomer, and the first Greek to visit and describe the British Isles and the Atlantic coast of Europe. Though his principal work, On the Ocean, is lost, something is known of his ventures through the Greek historian Polybius (c. 200–c. 118 bc).
>Sailing from the Mediterranean Sea into the Atlantic, Pytheas stopped at the Phoenician city of Gades (present-day Cádiz, Spain), probably followed the European shoreline to the tip of Brittany, and eventually reached Belerium (Land’s End, Cornwall), where he visited the tin mines, famous in the ancient world. He claimed to have explored a large part of Britain on foot; he accurately estimated its circumference at 4,000 miles

Atlantean civilization existed 12,000 years ago and for probably some time before. the Great pyramids were built around that time or shortly after possibly as a last ditch effort to stop the poles from shifting. there is record of flooding on the great pyramids which the current egyptians (arabs of course) do not want to talk about since it means they were built in pre-egyptian times.
ancient egyptians were complete niggers compared to the atlanteans but they were the only ones with records of them, which the greeks later found. Actual egyptian pyramids were frail imitations compared to the Great ones.
