I actually think it will be a good thing recessions are ways of clearing out the shit the vast majority of workers don’t deserve a job because they are fucking useless only because employment is so high are they even considered. If you are actually useful and competent you won’t struggle to find a job when this is all over

At least here in America I understand it. A lot of people are about to lose their businesses they've built up for decades. The mom and pop shop that sells homemade fruit is going under while big guy Walmart across the street is deemed essential. Alcohol and Abortion are deemed essential while Churches and confession are deemed non essential. I understand their outrage at something that seems unfair, unjust, and immoral. At the same time though that doesn't justify their saying the virus is a hoax that we need to open everything up now that we need to go back to exactly how we lived before.

People in a panic as their world is crashing around them and they see the elites laughing talking about all the ice cream they have stocked up i.e. Pelosi are understandably angry. Its like the mythical quote of let them eat cake except Pelosi actually said it. Its sad that these people are to stupid to actually have a nuanced view of this crisis we are in. Say whatever you will, but I think the plan set out by the government on opening our nation up in 3 phases would have been pretty good. It would have started mid May and it was a slow roll. It had safeguards that if (really when) more infections began to pop up they could quickly shut things back down. Many state governments have decided that they didn't want to do this instead they've begun opening things back up at a rapid pace, and it will end up biting them in the ass and cause even more public unrest.
