Why does the Conservative right lack contemporary intellectual figures?

They do and you're a faggot. Sage.
The left is deluded into thinking there are no “intellectuals” on the right. Stay ignorant
No money in it
I guess Sowell and Scruton would count.
Douglas Murray, Peter Thiel?
Idk but I don't think there's a shortage, maybe intelligent conservatives prefer to be successful rather than be "public intellectuals" that end up contributing very little to society in the grand scheme of things.
>Conservative
Because it's fake.
Because you get your career destroyed instantly for showing any right wing beliefs.
They silence you.
Why does the Progressive left lack contemporary intellectual figures?
Now that you’re seeing the folly of your argument, what’s makes you think you’re in a position to judge anything?
This douchebag is the most over hyped fucking mediocre “philosopher” I’ve ever listened to. He’s a fucking politician. Sage.
Douglas Murray
WRONG
chomsky is the smartest guy on the left, well until he dies cause hes like 90 now.
Back in his day he was left wing but now compared to all this retarded shit he looks like a libertarian
>Douglas Murray
lol
I don't know what the point of the conservative right really is. They don't have prominent intellectuals and they are not exactly creative neither in-fact they straight up have an aversion for the arts.
Rightwingers tend to think for themselves. They don't need information downloaded to their brains by "experts"
>chomsky is the smartest guy on the left
The man was a fan of the Khmer Rouge and Pol Pot.
Spiteful mutant theory/declining average IQ is one of the most important contributions to the social sciences in modern times.
This retard said that 9/11 conspiracy theories cant be true because the official story blamed the saudis instead of USAs enemies
He also has Trump derangement syndrome and is way deep in the carbon dioxide cult. He literally said that Trump not signing the Paris Agreement was the end of the world.
He's based on free speech though
Pic related is literal proof that he lurks on Yas Forums.
I used to listen to Chomsky’s speeches a lot, and he would mention conservative intellectuals throughout the history of the US, and how they had a great tradition. I forget the names that he mentioned, though.
He also would refer to himself as being conservative or at least more conservative than the neocon types that he goes against.
He’s probably the only “intellectual” I’ve ever really heard, I’d like to read those conservatives but I’m lazy and have ADD, so reading is tough.
Chomsky is a cancerous Jew. He recently said that those on the left who do not support Biden in 2020 are just like those in Europe who refused to stop Hitler and the Nazi
Ah ok , yes . Shills.
>contemporary
>noam chomsky
top kek that old kike is literally the gatekeeper of the left for the last 60 years
what about today? who are the big intellectual figures of the left now? bill gates?
They do lack contemporary intellectual figures?
it's very much worth it to train your brain to be okay with reading for long periods of time,
when i was in highschool i'd listen to noam chomsky shit too, and in all honesty if it wasn't for getting into the very analytical and conceptual ideas of the left i'm not sure i'd have been able to see the holes in it as clearly
Do you think this is 2013? Lefties don't indentify with intellectualism and debating things they disagree with these days
Yes.
Imagine getting your career destroyed for your beliefs . . .
so much truth to this,
long gone are the days of atheist leftists going "where is your proofs" and spewing about logical fallacies and at least having some kind of basis in structured debate, by 2010 it was all buzzwords and identity movements
lol, there are plenty of right-wing intellectual figures. they just aren't parroted around on fox news or breitbart and the left would rather pretend they don't exist.
this is what happens when most of the people engaging in political discourse don't read books.
What would Thomas Sowell be considered?
Wait. Does Kent Hovind count?
Noam Chomsky is to philosophical, literary, and linguistic studies as Bernie Sanders is to politics. Both men are old, very advanced in years, and despite current relevance, or recent relevance, more likely, they are out of their prime career years.
What do you mean we have Nick Fuentes
This holds the answers you asked for, but you won't read it.
The term left and right is one of those material dialectic phenomenon popularised by the communists hundreds of years ago. You're buying into a communist ideology if you identify with the right
they do you just make bait threads
