Are they comfy or depressing?

If those monstrosities don't want to make you kill yourself you have issues
Both
Both
they are cheap and more comfy than to sleep at the streets.
We're #2 in highest suicide rate in the world, take a fucking guess.
They're purpose built and the ideology shows. Especially the courtyard component.
Our mass market stuff is nicer but I would argue even more sterile and soulless than the commie stuff. The western condos are designed to not offend and for the lowest common denominator. At least the commie stuff has a character.
i live in one, it's not the fact that you're living in one it's more depressing that you live in a neighbourhood surrounded by these giant concrete blocks, every time i return home from work i enter the labyrinth, every morning i open my window for fresh air all i see is those shitty buildings - these were built for social engineering for easier control of the masses.
wish there was a lowry painting of this
How could the builders and architects even get themselves to construct something so soulless? Were they autists? Did they have no humanity?
>At least the commie stuff has a character
Yea, the character of a vintage TV screen of black and white video static.
F commie shit!
We have some in Finland but usually have many trees around them which make it a nicer to live in
Are they still building them?
We had to provide cheap housing to a lot of people, putting aside everything else
> so comfy we lock you in to die if you have the chink aids
I want to venture there, but it must be completely empty first
ask corbusier how
I grew up in St. Petersburg in Russia. Can confirm people really just work for the richer interior. The outside will want to make you kys for sure unless youre some dumb commie gooper
Money over humanity
Hell on earth. Housing everybody is not worth it.
Aesthetics were actually actively rejected under communism, Corbusier was a big influence on Soviet architecture, and that was a faggot of gigantic means.
Yes, but under that regime you don't have opportunities to get a nicer place. Most of society is better off when some people are homeless.
Comfy depressing and sadness

I didn't know Corbusier influenced the Soviets too. Truly one of the most evil men were born
yes they are still building them but nowadays they are not so heavily crowded, like you said they tend to be separated by some kind of green space like a little park for children to play, some gardens, green alleys etc. normies are still brainwashed by thinking that having an apartment in a commie block reflects a good social status and is more confortable for raising children and starting a family than owning a house
And unless you are mentally ill or something tragic happened to you and your homeless, you deserve it because it's your own fault for being a junkie or neet
As somebody who's lived in quite a few commieblocks, I can tell you with 100% certainty that it's the latter. As says, it might be alright living in one, but looking out of your window just to see what could've been otherwise beautiful scenery - it's depressing.
I always think it's weird how all of this seemingly exists in a kind of vacuum for those out in the west who proclaim themselves to be socialists or whatever. They're usually the kind of person who wouldn't fit in at all in former Soviet bloc countries, either for lack of character, having perverted ideas about what socialism entails or being obsessed with things nobody living there in their right mind would.
Mass housing works just fine if white people live in them.
Normally they're called beachfront condos in that setting and are in places like Belize.
Depends on the thickness of the walls and your neighbors.
They increase population density leading to behavioural sinks.
My neighbors would lynch me if we all had to live in one of those because I'm really loud and messy and I cook stinky food.
Apartment life is fucked. Cooped up in something less than 100 squared meters, constant elevator trips to get anything from your car, no backyard, forced communal areas, niggers blasting music from two floors below, washing machine IN the fucking kitchen... anyone who says they like apartment living are lying to themselves
>Yas Forums still falls to the same fucking slide thread everyday for months
I swear youll never learn
Lol no it doesn't. Every white person I've ever met does annoying shit that drives people crazy in close proximity. Like roasting garlic and watching CNN for hours at full volume.
Stfu toothpaste you posted here too
