i watched the video earlier and honestly if this is true it wouldnt surprise me one bit. i work in a hospital and the nurses and doctors tht actually give a fuck seem to be fewer and farther between these days. most of the ones that went to new yorkdid so because they got thought theyd be paid $10K/week. the doctors arent even going into the rooms to assess patients, opting instead to basically skype with them (if theyre not sedated). and the nurses probably dont give a flying fuck enough to actually compassionately take care of their patients. normally, nurses dont even give a shit about routine patients. most in the profession were dumb, skill-less thots that eventually decided to do something with their lives and thought, "Ill be a nurse!", and they are fucking terrible at their jobs

along with that, the retardedness surrounding this virus is getting out of hand. in work in the ER, and they literally told us that they will not, under any circumstances, administer breathing treatments to covid patients while they are in the ER because of the possibility of aerosolizing the virus. unlike the video states, we will use non-rebreathers if the nasal cannula isnt cutting it, but if the patient needs to be on it for over a certain amount of time (i forget the cutt-off off the top of my head) they just intubate. without trying anything else. knock 'em out, stick a tube down their throat. send them to ICU.

You realize everything she is saying is because the the staff in hospitals are overworked, burned out, and don't have the resources they need.

This. In 2010-2012 I worked for a MD resident prospect and the only thing I ever heard was about money. Not just from him but every time I went with him to NYC to interview for a residency position we would go out with other prospects and they only talked about money and making fun of past patients from Thier intern programs. From the 3 or 4 dozen resident doctors I have met and talked to in that time not a single one wanted to help people it was all about doing Thier time at a hospital and then opening a private practice to cash in that sweet patients insurance.

no family members are allowed anywhere in the hospital. so yes, i do believe this in some ways affects the decision making process of a lot of doctors and nurses. if a patient codes, only a physician, 2 nurses, and one aide are allowed in the room, and not until theyve donned full PPE. it could be 5-10 minutes before the "code team" even makes it into the room to even begin cpr. and as of right now, this is literally ALL patients in the hospital. not just the covid patients. ALL of them. the reasoning is that we are supposed to treat every single patient there that codes as a possible covid case.

i can't believe anyone is surprised by medical malpractice in the US. any american who has had experience with the hospital system could tell you that most hospital deaths are preventable and that hospitals are generally incompetent
