If you look at the US there are many cars made in Germany. Americans with money love foreign cars. The prices for new cars made in Germany are not even higher in the US then here where they are produced.
But here in Europe you see barely any american cars. Just Fords because there is a big Ford factory in Cologne since 100 years or so.
And you see some cheap models from Chevrolet. But i dont mean Camaros or Corvettes but trashy "Aveos".
If you want to buy a Dodge , GMC or Cadillac you need to import them or pay 20-30% more than they cost in the US.
I dont get why american car companies dont export more cars to Europe...
Euros like to think they are more sophisticated than the big dumb dumb Americans and scoff at the thought of buying one of their cars. Also tight European streets can't handle Big American Cars.
There isnt much of a market there, thats what I would think. Also dont you guys have even gayer emissions requirements then california? Thats probably why.

Compare the price of gas and you know why
Jose Thompson
>EU has higher tariffs on US cars >Italy has a “wealth tax” on vehicles with more than 250hp, newer and powerful vehicles pay more and after 20 years you pay nothing >Said tax costs a whopping 3500€/yr for a Mustang GT 5.0 >Gas prices are literally triple or quadruple the american price (Italian gas costs 6/7$ per gallon because 68% of the price is tax) >Roads are MUCH NARROWER and parkings are tiny than US roads (I’ve driven quite a lot in the US, easiest country by far for parking and driving smoothly) >GM doesn’t sell anymore here >Ford has only one dealership in 100Km with Mustangs Still, a bunch of ameriboos buy them regularly and run them with pride. I see a Dodge RAM on a daily basis here and my neighbor has a Dodge Challenger.
Joshua Johnson
Tariffs imposed by the krauts to kill the competition. Also they themselves cheat on emissions.
Elijah King
Most "foreign" cars we have are made in America so most of the ones you see aren't actually imported. I think American car companies recieve parts from overseas, but few of them have actual assembly plants in other countries. The cost of importing an American is just too high for the average yuropoor, and they probably have little interest in doing so in the first place.
They can't go unlimited speed required to drive at German autobahns
Jacob Phillips
protectionism against american imports. you can pretend it's because euro cars are better but you have plenty of garbage over there too not just muh bmw.
Joshua Flores
There are some, but they are just little faggy cars because gas is $63 a gallon in Europe.
This is a european car with the ford logo. Nothing too do with the anerican version
Owen Jenkins
Toyotas and hondas are great cars, Hyundai/kia are pretty good these days, but German cars all go to shit at about 75k miles. I'm not saying American cars are all that good, but fuck BMW, Mercedes, Audi, and VW. Only a germ would think biodegradable wiring harnesses and plastic transmission parts are a good idea.
Nathaniel Taylor
european fords are designed & built by europeans in europe, so in a sense they are
Excessive CO2 Emissions = Taxes are ridiculous. Just look at how many people are buying the Mustang 5.0 vs 2.3 Ecoboost, the yearly CO2 Tax for the N/A V8 is almost 3x the I4 Turbo since it makes more CO2.
Tariffs and Protectionism are another big reason. It's why Euros would rather buy base model 5-Series with 1.8 diesel I4s and cloth seats, crank windows over a Toyota Camry or Hyundai Sonata while in USA/Rest of World the 5-Series is a premium car and won't leave Germany without at least 240hp, iDrive, and leather
Jose Hernandez
We don't tariff imported cars or tax the hell out of foreign investment in auto factories. You do.
Jonathan Young
Because BMW is everything we need
Andrew Reed
Euro are scared of a factory car that lifts the front tires
Europeans and American Women like traction control settings and sitting down when they pee. German made cars have like 60 types of traction control, many of which can’t be turned off. Also German manufactures have gotten so good about lying about their production methods that people have been duped into thinking they’re an good environmental option.
Ethan Brown
Americans don't even buy American cars. They fucking suck.
Luis Rodriguez
Ka and Fiestas of that era had massive problems with rust, especially in those areas. Common problem, happened to almost every car.
Matthew Campbell
if they're designed by americans in america, i'd say so
Because our women think American cars like challengers look dumb.
Cooper Scott
that car was actually sold in na with minor changes.
Lincoln Gutierrez
Well, you may not want a powerful car that can only use its power in a straight line if you wanna have fun in most European roads, you need something maybe less powerful, but nimble
regulations the gay EU has they can sell here but it's near impossible to sell there
thank your leftie commy leaders if you were able to buy our vehicles there, the cost of your vehicles would plummet near 67% dumb commy leaders
Thomas Gray
Serb. Serb. Serb. Hey guys!!!! slavvvvvvv is in here. Get it out!

because american cars are shitboxes with bad fuel economy. however when i was in europe last fall i saw a lot of mustang gt's which was kind of funny
Grayson Lee
americans think ford is American. nigger they are way the fuck more international then domestic. yeah yeah the model T and all but these days...
Easton Cox
Ford is a international company, you retards.
European Fords designed in Europe for the European market are European cars.
Julian Gonzalez
I have been to Europe a dozen times and have seen Fords and Chryslers in every country I’ve been to. I bet roughly 5% of the cars on the road in Europe are american
Lucas Taylor
Our gov does anything possible to fuck the US car competition thats why you dont see em here
Juan Rivera
American cars have historically been regarded as highly inneficient and impractical in Europe, not only because high fuel consumption and emissions but their big size.
The reasons are not small streets or shitty european roads, but high population density and expensive replacements.
Anyways, Americans only use to buy European luxury cars. You hardly see Peugeot, FIAT, SEAT, Citröen, Alfa Romeo, Skoda, Dacia or Renault cars in American streets, just Mercedes, BMWs and some VWs and Audis.
Chevrolets seen in Europe are made by Daewoo in Korea. Ford is still pretty big in Europe, and some models are well sold (Mustang, Chrysler Voyager, Dodge Caravan)
Christopher Watson
britfags drive around, see a mustange & go "thats a foreign."
That thing can probably bankrupt you with a single tank refill. Most people don’t like spending 1000€ in gas a week here. Enjoy your cheap gas burger. Kek
Zachary Evans
because euro manlet daniel craig is the closest they come to the real mcqueen
>large engines/high emissions are taxed highly and insurance gets stupid >fuel is comically expensive >our old cities don't do well with large proportioned cars
They look ace. But like kit car ace. So still shit really.

idk i cant imgaine driving anything other than my camaro. euro cars are kinda shit desu
Julian Cox
The US is huge and its car culture is very based, you can’t actually understand the american way unless you experience it in person. Everything makes sense there.
Jordan King
A Challenger wouldn't fit on crappy, tiny roads in most of Europe. What would be the point anyway? No place to let it stretch it's legs.
Charles Williams
Dodge Charger. The most racist car ever designed. Awesome.
