Hello friends. I work in meat distribution. today I got a 17 page document on my desk. 17 pages of meat products that are discontinued indefinitely. this is a majority of prepackaged meat products we carry, and most of the subprimals we cut for our grocery stores.
March 15th-21st was the beginning of severe supply chain disruptions. Stores that were traditionally ordering 300 pieces, were order 1500. This was wholly due to panic buying, and the supply chain being unable to keep up. Since then we've bounced back. Limits on purchases, and limits on ordering. The supply chain was able to recover, and two weeks ago all hard limits were removed.
With the recent meat plant(Tyson, Smithfield, etc) purchase limits were replaced on Sunday. Today order rationing has been taken to a whole new level. A store could order 12 cases of a product, and would be sent 6 for example; starting today you cannot order more than 2 cases per product. Ungraded meat will now be sold when graded(Grade A, Select/Choice/Prime) meat is unavailable.
Fellow mutts, things are about to get really bad. If the factories to not start pumping out meat soon, there could be nothing left within 2 weeks. If you haven't already bought fresh meat, and want to continue to consume it; stock up now. You might not get another chance to get those tendies. But what will the normies do when they can't get their burgers?
Why is meat distribution being hit so particularly bad in the US? And why at this stage? Even when we had panic buying in the beginning only the non-perishables were affected. This is some sabotage shit going on.

You wrote 4 paragraphs and not a single sentence explaining why there would be a shortage. Try again

That's a smart and cozy setup, OP. You'll be finding a use for the chicken shit, yes?
Angel Perry
>Fellow mutts
Go fuck yourself. I am no mutt.

Our meat is raised in the US processed in China then shipped back to the US. It’s retarded and like all farming subsidized to the point where providing food at actual market value would destroy their whole business model.
Justin Sullivan
they've closed the meat plants the farmers are euthanasing their livestock as they are not worth keeping alive/feeding until the plants reopened. I apologize, figured this was common knowledge by now
Guess people will turn to meat alternatives then Long BYND calls all day long
Chase Hughes
Imagine the smell.
Parker Baker
fertilizer for my victory garden, obviously I believe you friend. the "beyond meat" thing was forced hard on us hard last year so I wouldn't be surprised
>the farmers are euthanasing their livestock as they are not worth keeping alive/feeding until the plants reopened No, it says if the price drops even further they have to start considering it Its a possible outcome, not something they've already started doing
Angel Fisher
Ok my plan to start raising rabbits now needs to be my next big priority.
Lincoln Young
And just like that, the NWO turns us 3rd world.
Isaiah Long
Wise words, I might raid a nearby chicken coop soon.

>But what will the normies do when they can't get their burgers? Eat bugs. Potatoes are being left to rot in the field. The fresh fruit/vegetable section at my grocery store has been hit pretty hard. They can't get migrant labor to pick the stuff.
Sebastian Sanchez
Lmao i thought this was just some dumb conspiracy, but it's real. Are they fucking retarded? You could probably feed the US population without meat for a a short time, but people are going to freak out when meat is going to disappear of the shelves
Oliver Flores
>No you didn't contradict him. it's economically unfeasible
Oh wait I live next to like 3 farms, but I still need to do it. If it comes down to it I will embrace cannibalism because Kali Yuga and for the lulz.
Grayson Smith
>You'll be finding a use for the chicken shit, yes? It is a good fertilizer.
William Watson
acting like the us government has the balls to stop giving americans mcdonalds cheeseburgers. theyd all be hung faster then if theybtried to take our guns
Nicholas Hill
>you didn't contradict him. Yeah, actually I did. He said farmers were euthanizing animals when it clearly says it's a potential outcome of the price of live hogs dropping He stated it was already happening, I was pointing out it clearly says it's something they're considering in the future
Benjamin Rodriguez
>plz buy my meat no
Andrew Scott
Can someone explain WHY this is happening? Didn't meat exports surge after the swine flu hit China? Why would they be suddenly shutting things down?
Aaron Stewart
This will be fun, the nogs will go apeshit in a few days if they can't lay their hands on the trump bucks funded KFC:

You are wuhan-19 positive, take this gun and euthanize yourself.
You're a moron if you think there is enough wildlife to survive off of
Wyatt Williams
That's it? Why don't they just wear masks? What kind of sanitary conditions are these guys working in that they're getting sick? What the fuck is happening, seriously? What possible explanation do they have for this?
Jace Bailey
Little anecdote.
Went to my local supermarket in Southern California (Stater Bros) and there are several meat products I asked about being out of stock. Staff told me they were discontinued. Which is odd.. never heard of a meat product being discontinued. I didn’t even know what that meant and neither did staff. I guess saying there’s a lack of supply is scarier than “discontinued”. OP made sense of my situation.

Smithfields is a Chinese owned company user. They had to go.
Luke Nelson
Won't that potentially poison you, fren? Unless you have a good source of fatty food as well.
Cooper Russell
Your chickens are big enough to put in your outside coop or they're gonna start jumping out and shitting on your floor
Gavin Martinez
>Why is meat distribution being hit so particularly bad in the US? And why at this stage? Meat processing plants are shutting down due to covid-19 outbreaks: > be meat processing plant > hire wetbacks to save on labor costs > wetbacks don’t wash their hands. Ever. > covid-19 breaks out among employees > Kommissar Karen shuts it down Big news story here. These are literally our only “outbreaks” outside of the St. Louis ghetto t. Missouri
Hunter Wright
Its a scare tactic to try and force us to eat bugs or some shit. Not gonna happen.
Do you hear fast food chains crying they're running low on meat?
Mason White
TIME TO START EATING BUGS. 4D CHESS GLOBALISTS FTW
Futures market has collapsed for uhhh (((reasons))) and there are shenanigans going on with meat plants being closed because of easily preventable worker infections. The first Tyson plant to close redistributed its fucking workers to the other plants.. that then mysteriously also ended up with workforce infections.
And why would the plants close? isnt food essential?
Alexander Miller
Its because the corporations lobbied to require a USDA inspector at slaughterhouses. The slaughterhouse has to pay for the inspector so over time all of the small regional plants went under. Now we just have a handful of mega plants that process all our meat. If the rule was lifted you would see a lot of farmers and ranchers being able to produce meat for their local towns. It's not a perfect solution but it can be done.
Tyler Long
USA makes so much food that we export some. Actually we export a lot. Remember that stuff China was supposed to buy? That's what's getting destroyed, along with most of the GMO crops. Food prices won't even flinch.
Im really glad I prepped so early, the jew fears the indoor rabbit farmer
Landon Edwards
This is what should be done on an emergency basis to prevent the needless euthanasia and disposal of hundreds of millions of animals and root and branch wholesale protein supply chain destruction.
Gabriel Perez
>this is a majority of prepackaged meat products we carry I wonder how many people would actually switch to fresh meat if that's all that stays available.
what you say is accurate however meat prices are already increasing I can't say whether or not this artificial or not prices are starting to go up and they will continue to do so
