Why shouldn't the Netherlands be a part of Germany? Why shouldn't the rest of the Low Countries be a part of Germany for that matter? Dutchmen are less divergent linguistically as well as culturally from the Norddeutscher hegemony than some states that are actually in Germany. The Dutch were a part of the Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation for hundreds of years, and their apparent Germanness is why they are referred to as the "Dutch" in English. Tbh the Low Countries should just be annexed by Germany.
Anschluß the Netherlands

I can barely understand German and can't speak it. Also if they try we will just break a few dykes and they will have occupied a nice bit of sea.
cause they're dutch and speak dutch and are not german and don't speak german?
Fuck off
Also, "the Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation" was founded by Franks, who emerged from the Salian Franks, who were more Dutch than German, and who spoke a language much closer to modern Dutch than German.
You're not called Swamp Germans for nothing, imo standard Dutch and standard German are remarkably similar, even more similar to each other than English is with Dutch or Scandi
Germany does not have a monopoly on Germanness
I could just say that people in Baden and Bavaria don't speak German but Allemanish and Bavarian, they seem more distant from standard German than Dutch
That is true, it is very similar, and I can understand it somewhat by nature, I never put in any serious effort the effort to learn. It is a very easy language for Dutch people to learn.
Lots of Dutch hate Germans because of WW2 and because they are secretly jealous of their higher living standards.
> Dutchmen are less divergent linguistically as well as culturally from the Norddeutscher hegemony than some states that are actually in Germany.
what
Which part(s) do you take issue with
OP is absolutely correct and Australians are the best posters and the only redeemable Anglos. However: Jews and the (((USA))) are in the way of this plan.
The occupation couldn't have been that bad right? Muh Germanic brotherhood and shit
Historically not part of Germany. Part of the HRE yes, but so was most of Northern Italy for hundreds of years. Also it isn't the same language. If using that argument, France and the UK could lay claim to each other, because the languages are very similar, even if they don't like to admit it.
When I grew up calling someone a "Duitser" was a grave insult.
Here's your Germanic brotherhood
The bombed the shit out of Rotterdam and in the beginning the occupation wasn't so bad, as say, Russia or Poland, but later when they started to lose the war, it got a lot worse.
Yes we do. You have however a monopoly on crypto-Jewishness.
What abkut Austria? Renounced?
as a dutchfag living in moffenland the living standard is definitely not higher
Whilst Northern Italy was in the HRE for hundreds of years, it was also not in the HRE for hundreds of years and all the while didn't speak a language that was at all like German. English and French are not alike at all lol, English has borrowed a lot of words from French but this has given more synonyms than words being taken away. Dutch and English are easily more alike than French and English.
bullshit
(((((((((((((((((())))))))))))))
On average it is, some parts are poorer some parts are better. Krauts have more purchasing power.
Why are you making this thread
Ah shit here we go again. World war three, synthetic sigaloo
The G*rman can't wait to destroy Europe a third time.
Jewishness was forced on England by William the Conqueror and Cromwell's Dutch backers. On that note I guess maybe the Netherlands shouldn't receive an Anschluß
>You have however a monopoly on crypto-Jewishness.
Only because the US has the monopoly on open Jewishness.
Yes, yes, they confiscated your grandfather's bicycle for the war effort; I'm sure it was very traumatic.

Do you know how much housing and driving a car costs here? A hell of a lot more that in Germany.
I think BeNeLux, France and Germany will be the first to form some sort of United States of Europe
While the languages, opposed to what your Statement, have their similarities but aren’t as close as German dialects to standard German
With the Netherlands we already share a quiet similar culture, the EU and even a lot of military cooperation
So it’s more a matter of time until we join completely
purchasing power is not living standard
Denmark, Austria and Switzerland too. Not so sure about France, don't think I want them in with us.
