There are dozens of countries which have 0 or single digit daily cases

New Zealand, Taiwan, South Korea, Australia, Iceland, Croatia, Malaysia, Vietnam etc.

And all I still hear in the media is “we need to live with the virus through the summer and next year”.

Can someone give me a coherent argument why so many countries can eliminate the virus, but all other countries earlier in the curve aren’t supposed to get to 0 or single digits?

Germany has fallen to 900 cases yesterday, adjusted for size, that’s as if NZ had 40 cases in a day (which it had just 2 weeks ago)... why shouldn’t Germany be able to get to say 50 new cases a day max or 10? Or 0?

Still needing to prevent a second wave.
If flocking to McDonald's or anywhere else continues, second waves will rise.
Wait your time, Deutschland, maybe all these countries work out like Singapore if transmission begins again (especially if the populations are stupid about crowding together).

>Still needing to prevent a second wave.
What second wave? The R0 would need to be at 3 or 4 for that. That's impossible as long as large gatherings are outlawed and people wear masks on public transport and shops.

>maybe all these countries work out like Singapore
Singapore was a staunch 'anti-mask' country.

Also, all new cases have exclusively broken out in their slums (those are real slums) where poverty is rampant and people live on top of each other.

Depends
At least in southern hemisphere we are heading into winter so beach crowds will be reduced.
Much talk about organised sport starting up again in a month or so.That draws big crowds.
It also depends how much unrecognised coronavirus is lurking about waiting to ignite the second wave when people start congregating in large numbers again.
However, on the face of it, the numbers are low enough to be encouraging thoughts that maybe we can eliminate the virus. Much luck involved in that outcome.

if you commit suicide, you won't have to worry

>how much unrecognised coronavirus is lurking

If you have only a handful new cases detected per day with a lot of testing, you can safely say that the dark unrecognized numbers aren't 100 times higher, nor even 10 times higher. Maybe 3-5 times higher.

And those people without symptoms also recover after a few days.

Thanks for that suggestion

>NZ cuisine

You've just emerged from a winter where your vitamin D levels low. We've had summer and our immunity strength is higher due to the role Vitamin D plays in the formation of immune cells and proteins. Take 25mg of vitamin D a day until you can get enough sunlight. 1-2 hours a day.

NWO psyop

watch the David Icke interview, he talks about the testing kits they use and why it's all a scam. he's not the only one to talk about it, but it's the easiest to find on your own off the top of my head

Imagine being so fat, the first thing you do after exiting the quarantine is eat McDonald's.

Funny how the world makes fun of burgers and mcdonalds and yet they cant get enough of it

erm no , well now not anymore, fking retarded at start no need mask, few weeks in wear a mask or get fined $300, now every where i go everyone has a fucking mask. the spread R0 is fucking high, look almost every fucking one in the worker dorms got it. just imagine where ever people crowd again, just need 1 or 2 ppl to have Covid 19 and it'll spread like wildfire again. The kill count on the other hand kinda low atm

Well, NZ is a country filled with fat disgusting fucks after all. Samoans etc.. are all fat cunts.

The US health care system is a major league Jewish swindle and a severely multicultural society like the US cannot worjk together to beat this virus.

Cliffs: Diversity is our strength.

Indeed this is to be hoped for and may be the ultimate outcome.

Question remains about maybe it could be spreading in disconnected populations such as drug addicts, homeless etc.

Only time and looking for it will tell.

But we remain hopeful of no or low transmission rates for the next few months.

Eventually, however, we will need to immunise the population with a vaccine and hopefully one or more can be developed that produces a good immunity that lasts a while.

australia is pretty lucky with major catastrophes
it's so far away from the rest of the world and sparsely populated that pandemics die out
no live volcanoes, doesn't get earthquakes, tornadoes or tsunamis
just cyclones, some flooding and bushfires

Thanks for the chat Deutschland.

Good luck to you.

>If flocking to McDonald's or anywhere else continues, second waves will rise.

it's only the drive thru open.

nobody eliminated it, they still have cases and you aswell have more than enough that can be reignited pretty fast

do you stop wiping your ass because you feel like its almost clean now?

Singapore allowed international travellers still. It was the foreign slaves they use for manual labour who caused the second wave.
Australia and NZ should be right if we keep the borders closed

An island has managed to self-isolate. Wow! how was this feat even possible?

>Well, NZ is a country filled with fat disgusting fucks after all. Samoans etc.. are all fat cunts.

KFC is the coconuts national food.

mcdonalds is hell on earth where they feed you shit with a clown guy who rapes kids

>Coronavirus is comparable to wiping your ass

Are you literally retarded or do you just think of diarrhea a lot?

Yes keeping borders shut would be effective.

We could open the borders if every arriving person goes into 2 weeks compulsory quarantine.

That approach would be very similar to keeping the borders shut.

Victoria is staying shut at the moment but the cases would be through the repatriation flights and the nursing homes.

i didnt give you permission to open your hole disgusting anglojew, silence

You do realise that Ronald McDonald is a fictional character and not actual making or cooking the burgers right?

>Singapore was a staunch 'anti-mask' country.
Bullshit, Singapore is full of Chinese who wear medical masks whenever they have a cold, and they all stock N95 masks as well for the seasonal haze from Sumatran forest fires.

Eat a snickers bro.. your Hungary and your not yourself when your Hungary.

The suit was real for quite a few years until retired. Actually the Ronald McDonald persona was taken very seriously by McDonald's and they were very picky on who they chose.

>Won
It really isn't though

Yes we have been lucky that there has not been much community transmission.

I hope our luck holds

The governments are being suitably conservative in the approach to returning to school, work etc.

Decisions need to be informed by what happens so we can't get to far ahead of the evidence/data.

Good going so far

Keep a steady hand on the tiller

There are many advantages to no or low transmission.
