You ever been to the steam engine shows? They're pretty fun to go to. Going to Normanby hall is pretty good to they have car shows once a year I think and some other events too.

Are you on about steam rallies or steam galas at heritage railways? I've been to both. Managed to blag myself as steerman on one of the Showman's Engines at Shrewsbury a few years ago.
