The Tet Offensive (A massive vitenamese country wide operation taking place all at once on a viet holiday) triggered the end of the war. It was no longer politically sustaintable to continue. America lost but declared victory and went home with a generation of soldiers turned into monsters and men inflicted with Agent Orange.
