Will a post-scarcity society ever be possible? What would the political and economic ramifications of such a thing be?

Will a post-scarcity society ever be possible? What would the political and economic ramifications of such a thing be?

Also, The ferengi are a bunch of space faring capitalist jews.

not with niggers eating the surplus and jews artificiality creating scarcity

Fbp

It would look like a technology tax on capital. This way automation goes to all instead of all to the patent holder.

We are closer than you think.

Just add logistics automation to our unlimited energy and unlimited food.

post scarcity society is a society hooked up to the matrix

>post-scarcity society
The biggest lie in Star Trek

You underestimate the patents on actuators. The efficiency of automation isn't passed onto the common man as much as you think it is.

The biggest change is when genetic engineering, nanomachines in the bloodstream and neural chips are going to be avaible for every person.

Every human being is going to be a athletic superchad with IQ of 200+ , resistant to any disease and even radiation (for space travel), ageing slower with more health, can learn anything fast through neural brain implants not needing college or any formal education.

No, because people will keep reproducing exponentially
That's why farming led to expansion of warfare

Yes, industrial tech here. All scarcity is a product of the limitations of the human workforce. ATLAS and similar automatons will be paired with next generation AI to replace the workforce.

Capitalism will gobble up whatever excess we produce. If we have more energy than we need someone will figure out a way to spend more.

Replicators

When this happen global goverment will be a reality since there won’t be any more differences between humans.

>ferengi, jews
Nope they are low tech space gypsies.
The real Jew is the Bajoran
>muh occupation
>muh camps
>muh religion
>muh Federation will fight Cardassians for me

Except we would want the state to subsidize automation to create a post scarcity world, not tax it and stifle technologocal progress you tremendous retard

You would need to live in some different sort of reality with different laws. Or reuse any trash as basis material for everything (and intellectual property had to become free, which would demotivate a lot of people)
And you would have infinite niggers, infinite jews, infinite boomers, infinite crime, infinite trash, infinite morons...

Secomd wave of commiunism and facism once this ends, looking towards the fun :)

Hi repetitive jews! You should learn STEM first before shilling B.S. here.

>invent auto picker 8000
>patent it
>can sell oranges for 5 cents, but nah
>pocket profit
>competitor wants an auto picker
>lol patented, get fucked
>oranges still not post-scarcity
at least try, Abdul

> muh tax
Why not instead of pushing more gibs to your tribe, push a reform on the justice system, patent and IP laws instead?

I mean, you do know the final result of your jewshit is a stagnant, diseased, uniform and psychotic world, right, jews? Probably even total collapse.
You are too retarded to understand technology and its effects properly.

>bubblegum scent.

You should try working on PLCs you faggot rather than tking out of your frankencunt goddamned mtf reject

Humanity doesn't deserve a happy ending.

>push a reform on the justice system, patent and IP laws instead?
One is 1000 times more complicated than the other. Less complicated outcomes are more realistic.

Though either would be fine.

Time is scarce. It's impossible.

You can only have some things post scarcity. Like air and sunlight are basically post scarcity right now and that's it.

>All scarcity is a product of the limitations of the human workforce.
What about materials, energy, land, time, intellectual work and research...?
Your cult seems to think AI will replace intellectual work, but even very advanced ones will be as uncreative and methodical as jews and sociopaths.

See you on the battle field old fren
Dont cut yourself with all that edge

Of course (((you))) would get triggered by this. HUEHUE

>The real Jew is the Bajoran
this
absolutely insufferable

the ferengi were based, but the wokening due to quarks mother will be their undoing

Spoken like someone who couldn't name 5 patents without a Google search after this post.

if we can get rid of the jews and muslims we stand a chance.

Yeah, you are impressive, incredible, a gift to the world, blah, blah...
Are you happy now?

Fuck, you were a bot all along.

>there are people who are actually against this

The reality is that people will just want more. On the flip side it encourages technological discoveries.
If I lived in Star Trek world Id want my own warp capable ship, which is obviously a huge expenditure of resources, so it'd be in limited supply.

Energy is renewable via solar. Agriculture is currently very inefficient but in a closed machine tended system would be more productive. Land will be a factor but whoever owns the droids... Time is also not relevant, we are inefficient and inaccurate versus machinery.

Basically, if technology progresses at the same rate it does now, there will come a point at which we conquer almost every form of scarcity. Like in TNG the idea is that you can take a rock, put it into a replicator, the raw material will be changed on an atomic level (so we'll be able to add or subtract neutrons) and then build new molecules from that. So you put a rock into a replicator and tell it to make it into a ham sandwich and you get a ham sandwich.
And this isn't even close to out of the realm of possibility. We already add and subtract neutrons in particle accelerators. We've already invented several new atoms. There very well may come a time when this process is something we can do at home. And once that happens, we'll be able to 3d print anything. Anything at all. Food. Clothing. Gold watch. Lambo. But once you've turned rocks into a lambo, is it special any more?
It's basically not a question of if we will discover these technologies, but when.

>Adavanced technology so prevalent growers can just use another design that is even more effecient and declared free by its creator

Greedfags BTFO

>What would the political and economic ramifications of such a thing be?
reduced work hours
you'll work 4 hours, 3 days/week, and you´ll keep your current lifestyle

If the actuators, wheels, and even alloys weren't patented, maybe.
