Wild West

Been watching a lot of westerns and documentaries about the old west since (((lockdown)))

Sometimes, POL, i wished i lived in the old west. No niggers. Sure you had to deal with Mexicans and Indians but it seems if you had a skill to bring to the table, you mostly got left alone. Nobody would kill the local blacksmith if he was really the only competent blacksmith in 50 miles.

What do you think? Live around niggers or in the Wild West?

Ever watch Deadwood?

Nah. Is it good? Any niggers?

You'd also have to live without modern medicine, electricity, heating and air conditioning, cars, condoms, STD tests, coffee filters, warm baths, toilets, etc

Also, to become skilled in a trade was a lot harder to do because you essentially had to be trained by someone with whom you'll be his competition

>No niggers

Oh there were some niggers, alright. But there was a small amount of them. Most of them were Native American mutts. Most black Californians today have some Native American ancestry.

In summary; you probably don't have the gumption.

Yeah, its got a couple niggers. Mostly they're fucking stupid, so its accurate, but towards the end there's a little moralizing dig at the white dude who calls them fucking niggers the whole show. That, and the weak ass shoehorned lesbian shit are pretty much the only two instances of wokeness in the whole show. Otherwise, it's a 10/10.

No nigs and the chinks are the nigs

BASED show. The Movie was decent but Season 1 and 2 are amazing.

Two niggers, and they're treated like niggers by the whites...as are the chinks.

>The Movie was decent
Yeah, it was ok. To state the obvious, it could've been much better. It seemed like they did it just for the sake of tying the show up and calling it done and over rather than to tell a good story.

It's excellent. The creator went to Yale and is a former literature professor and is
Jewish
Checked and agreed 100% -
Too many shows and movies do this when trying to tie up the end in a nice conclusion.

Season 3 was a little dragged out imo so the movie kind of had the same feel. Still worth a watch, especially if you found Season 1 and 2 outstanding
>Must have seen Season 1 and 2 over 5 times in the last 15years.
>One of my top 10 shows

Check out the show Rome. It was a little degenerate at times but honestly the story is so well done that the degeneracy feels real enough and not just added for views.

There were actually rather a lot of niggers in the Wild West. Some historians say up to a quarter of cowboys may have been black. Not wacky, afro-centric, "we wuz" historians, but credible ones. I mean think about it, after the end of the Civil War there were a bunch of black men who'd been freed who had no good job prospects in the east, no literacy, no bonds holding them to their community, a habituation to working manual labor outdoors and a willingness to do so for a wage higher than what share-cropping paid. Them, and immigrants, were the perfect demographic for cattle drivers.

Course, it weren't so bad, niggers in the Wild West stayed in line or got their asses killed. They say Liver Eatin' Johnson killed the first nigger he ever met, for example, when he got out of line. I don't recall whether he shot him down or kill't him with a Bowie knife, I'd have to track down where I put my copy of "Crow Killer: The Sage of Liver-Eating Johnson" to refresh my memory. I think it's in my second dresser drawer, under a layer of ammo and paracord, but I'd have to move like my guitar, and my amp, and my riot shield to check, and I can't be arsed. I need a bigger fucking bedroom, is what I need.

Regardless, there were niggers in the Wild West, but if they started up with typical nigger behavior, you could just kill them.

*The Saga of Liver-Eating Johnson
Fucked that right up.

All I watch are western movies. Some of my favorites include, Death Rides A Horse, God Forgives I Don’t, Hondo, Lonesome Dove, Angel And The Badman, True Grit, Josey Wales, Ride Clear Of Diablo, pretty much anything with Audi Murphy, North To Alaska, and many more.

You a Red Lodger? I used to play in his cabin as a kid, my grandma was in charge of the Red Lodge museum.

Watch the Rifleman, comfy old show from the 60s with some chad single father teaching his boy life lessons and shiet, but all the morals are old fashioned today lmao

Naw, dude, I'm a Floridanon. I just heard tell of Jeremiah Johnson because legends never died.

It's cool that your grandma used to manage the Red Lodge museum, down here my grandfather used to be in charge of the Fred Bear museum. He was the archer who killed grizzly bears and elephants and shit with a recurve bow. Kinda revived archery and bowhunting as a sport in America, Fred Bear was pretty based.

i want to be a cowboy sometimes too user

the "wildwest" was actually not that wild. It was a time where men could be men. also Doc was based. I like kilmers portrayal of him although they kind of made him a criminal

He was kind of a criminal, though. So were the Earps. They were just about a Mob family that worked their way into positions in law enforcement to legitimatize their vendettas. They were killers and pimps and runners of games of chance, and definitely not heroes. They weren't irredeemably evil, most of the people they killed probably deserved it, but they weren't good people, either.

Most of our forebears had feet of clay and did a lot of shady shit, I'm sorry to tell you. Like the only righteous men we're taught to venerate were among the founding fathers, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Alexander Hamilton, Andrew Jackson, and Benjamin Franklin. Like the worst things they ever did were own/fuck slaves, and kill Injuns, and who can fault them for that? Also Ben Franklin was a total fucking letch and raw-dogged French thots like they were going out of style, but honestly, when he looked like he did, that's not degeneracy, that's an accomplishment. Good on him.

I know all about him, I had a Bear bow when I was a teenager. That's awesome.

Do you have any links to the documentaries

What is death valley

>Live around niggers or in the Wild West?
Why choose between two jewish plans?

I'm going to use this shitty thread for yet another autistic rant (like some guy wants me to do):
We have the internet, smartphones, ... nowadays, if some system could guarantee full anonymity this could make voluntary community policing absurdly effective (even with sounds, videos, photos, geolocations, ...).
Typical systems that deal with security in ZOG are retarded mass spying and micromanagement jewshit costing billions.
Most crime is extremely predictable (nigger or jew, unemployed, has several NGOs, signs of sociopathy, ...). It's basic bitch data mining even a total moron can do using MS Excel.
Also common sense laws work (strict policy on immigration, not letting criminals get away with everything, ...).

Unforgiven. Appaloosa. Good the bad and the ugly. Open range. Some of my faves

I wonder if they were attacked by indians while traveling

>Rome
Top show who was cancelled too son in favour of a complete literal man-child-show named Game of Thrones.

I tend to prefer using the term Old West, versus Wild West, as it was not quite so wild as movies and books depicting the era (usually post-Civil War rather than pre-Civil War) would have one believe. There were indeed gunfights, banditry, and even some skirmishes with Natives, but duels between two men were uncommon by the time of the 1870s and afterwards, compared to earlier on in the 19th century. In my opinion, the Old West was probably the most Wild West during the 1820s through mid-1870s era, which represented the period from the fur trade onwards through the years just right after the Civil War, and everything in between. The Alamo, the Mexican-American War, the Donner Party, the Oregon Trail, the California Gold Rush, the Pony Express, western battles and skirmishes of the Civil War, and the post-Civil War early years of cowboys, ranching, farmer-rancher struggles over cattle on farmlands, Custer's Last Stand, and early establishments of boom towns were more representative of times of the frontier, whereas afterwards, the West was getting increasingly densely settled in the towns and cities, the railroads were more accessible, and Natives were not as threatening to the settlers of those lands. Arguably, the West was still wild into the 1880s and 1890s, but not much relatively, compared to what the movies and books most often seem to say about the subject, which exaggerates it all as a mythologized era of history. There is still much that I have to learn about the Old West/Wild West time periods, as well, but I offer my opinion that most fictional portrayals heavily mythologize the 19th century (and sometimes early 20th century) American West, or for that matter, the times pertaining also to Mexico and Canada, which often feature in the western genre, as well, especially northern Mexico.

If you haven't fantasied about being a Cowboy, you're not a real American. Simple as.

rome was cancelled because it didnt earn enough revenue to justify its massive production cost. GOT by comparison earned back many times more than its production cost.

3:10 To Yuma (the remake) is one of my favorites.

But, if I'm not mistaken, all this "Wild West", guns, trekking, bare bones civilization actually originated from Spain and even parts of south Italy.

old west > wild west for sure

trappers running buckskin and beaver hide operations with a family / army of native wives and teenaged half breed sons who spoke scottish, french, latin, and greek, wielding the bible in one hand and a pen-dutch rifle in the other
