In 2017, orders came to shut it down, and it WAS shut down. White nationalists are terrified to even hold rallies in public anymore. They know they will get physically deplatformed while the cops do nothing to help them.
Deplatforming worked. Even Trump is terrified to even MENTION white people. He obsesses over his black/Mexican/etc. supporters, but he knows that white interests have been deplatformed. That's real power. Telling the president of the country to disavow an entire ideology, and having him obey your orders. Yas Forums doesn't seem to understand this.

There have been EXTENSIVE studies done on information management in networks and the one thing that they concluded you never, ever, ever do if you are trying to suppress an idea is to cut it off from the larger group. The prepared turf with a variety of faux leaders is actually a pretty robust containment strategy. The idea is that you have a whole spectrum of controlled opposition, from very radical to barely getting your toes wet outside the mainstream. You can use the algos to target any person outside the mainstream with someone just one step closer to the desired outcome, not too far from their current position that they'll reject it.
When you create a silo or firewall you destroy the ability to covertly reprogram someone because they just go off into the radicalized silo and don't participate in the spectrum of controlled opposition deradicalization programs. This is how you know that the right wing censorship is coming from the GOP not the DNC, but none of these controlled opposition leaders are ever going to tell you that, they'll just keep LARPing that the left is oppressing them.
