Bump
It isn't working because nobody is forced to stay home, public events are barely restricted, wearing a face mask isn't encouraged, mass-testing cannot be conducted, and nobody is tracking the virus between patients/families/the population.
That leads to a rapid spread. It was reported today that we've also underreported the total amount of deaths, correcting the figure by adding another 10% of individuals to the previous death toll of ~2.3k.
The leading epidemiologist did also say that we may be temporarily shutting down the way we track people who die in correlation to the virus and whether or not Sweden's approach is working - Because "not every part of Sweden can participate in these studies yet".
Truly ashamed of what's happening.
RIP
AAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Because our goverment knows its a fucking hoax. It is literally the regular flu, which is a symptom of shitty health habits.
I would ask to move to sweden. I wouldn't want to bring you down to my level.
Let me know if you need me to lay down my life for the only country on earth that's worth preserving. My body is ready.
JUST
A
FLU
Such a braindead thing to say. It's ~10x worse than the flu. Many innocent people will be dying because nothing is being done. Hospitals are flooded with patients, resources are lacking, and corporations are bleeding.
Correct action could've been taken way earlier in order to mitigate all of these currently hurt areas and escape this miserable situation quicker.
Get locked up, traitor
sweden
been wearing scarves on faces for a decade
Baseless assertions and assumptions.
Corporations are bleeding in the US even more -- because we shut them down.
Most of the dead would have been 75+ years old.
We've literally tanked our economy and ruined another generation's job prospects in order to save a few extra boomers who would have been dead in 5 years anyway.
Wish we took the Swedish approach. Could've even saved big bucks on social security in the bargain.
A year from now when it's clear that there will be no vaccine, Sweden will be ahead of us, and we'll be forced to take their path as well -- but saddled with the additional debt and economic wreckage we accrued from attempting the shutdown approach.
...its' called data and accurate reporting on what's currently happening. The submission is also a reference to the WHO's declaration regarding how damaging the coronavirus is. Facts in other words.
Their population is 10million with a land size of 450 thousand km
This.
No it isn't. It's a big fucking joke is what it is. Hospitals ARE NOT flooded with patients. Go see for yourself.
>A year from now when it's clear that there will be no vaccine, Sweden will be ahead of us, and we'll be forced to take their path as well -- but saddled with the additional debt and economic wreckage we accrued from attempting the shutdown approach.
I highly doubt it. The US and most countries did implement relatively strict measures, but it was way too late. Strict measures implemented in time could've decreased the spread drastically and delayed/flattened the curve, while we at the same time develop better techniques and prescription drugs to mitigate the virus and its effects.
It's not just about shutting down until a vaccine is created, slowing the spread will save lives, avoid strained healthcare facilities and give scientists time to create many various forms of antidotes.
NZ eliminated the virus domestically according to recent reports. That's the result of substantial restrictions (hopefully under a very limited time if done correctly). After that stage, you can open up society under limited circumstances.
Holding everything open and carrying on as usual will likely result in worse economic implications than taking the drastic approach at an early stage.
Oh I must have missed something let's go though your post.

>Hospitals are flooded with patients
No
Hospitals is the place to avoid now. Healthcare departments all over the world has had to build up provisionary hospital facilities and beds to manage the high increase of patients. And mass graveyards. Death certificates are flooding the daily newspapers. Are you living under a rock?
>liaise fair
Francais un petit peut hard, non ?
>but it was way too late
They were going to list deaths as covid19 no matter what
>RNA testing for coronavirus family
>Presumed positive
>Only need to die with coronavirus, not from coronavirus
>15% of all viral infections EVERY YEAR are coronavirus

From the article:
People who contract coronavirus face a far greater risk of death than those who get the flu, the head of the World Health Organization (WHO) warned Friday.
“The mortality rate of COVID-19 is estimated to be 10 times higher than influenza,” Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus told diplomatic mission chiefs via video.
Mentioning the Strategic Preparedness and Response Plan the WHO launched in February to help different countries and regions fight COVID-19, Tedros thanked the member countries for their support.
Tedros said member countries have made a total commitment of $800 million to date, and some of this amount has reached the WHO.
Reiterating his call for world leaders to show "unity and solidarity" in the face of the virus, Tedros also urged them not to exploit it for domestic political ends.
After originating in Wuhan, China last December, the virus has spread to at least 185 countries and regions across the world, with its epicenter shifting to Europe, while China has largely emerged from the crisis.
The virus infected over 1.6 million people worldwide, while some 356,000 people recovered from the disease, according to data compiled by the U.S.’ Johns Hopkins University. Some 96,000 have died.
Conspiratards should go somehwere else. Where the heck do you get your news from? Laughable..
...
>Has had to build provisionary hospitals
That's called triage retard. It keeps the virus out of the hospital building. It's also not "all over the world". Just at key locations we figured it would get bad, if it was going to.
>Mass Graveyards
I've heard of like 2 or 3 of those. All in Major cities.
>Resources are strained
They aren't though. Nobody has ran out of masks, or gloves, or anything else. That's all been a major fucking hoax. Most hospitals have like 1 or 2 Covid patients globally. Just like the flu. Which means there is no increase demand for PPE. Nor Meds. Nor anything else. It's why overflow centers aren't being used
>Corporations are bleeeding.
Somehow you were even wrong about this.
Corporations are making a killing because small business is out of the picture.
>Correct action could have been taken earlier.
No, no it couldn't. Not in the U.S where people have to understand that threat to act on it. Rather than the government being able to just shut things down.
>10X worse than the flu
It's not, and it's not a flu it's a cold.
This is what we call a severe cold.
I don't get how one person can be so wrong about everything.
In Canada, we shut down 6 weeks too early. We will never be able to acquire herd immunity and sync up with the developed world, unless a vaccine comes along. The whole fucking point of the imperial commission recommendation was to max out transmission amd shut down only if hospitals hit capacity. Canada and the US are laying off nurses because they have enough time to choreograph dance videos while our governments shit themselves, forgetting why the flatten the curve shit was proposed and going full bubble boy.
I'd trade Canadian approach for the Swrdish one. Their hospitals can still take patients and they are a standard deviation ahead on herd immunity. All while the fucking WHO chortles along about needing studies to confirm herd immunity is possible whilst telling people to wait it out for a vaccine to create herd immunity.
why shouldn't work?
if you have a good (or even decent) health care system that can support the relatively small number of serious cases it is in fact the only possibility
the flatten the curve meme is for places with shitty medical systems like pigs
Shut up commie faggot. Go record a tiktok-video or masturbate to tiger king instead of spreading jew propaganda on /our/ board.
>laissez faire
Sorry,user, couldn't help myself
To put things perspective for the USA.
Average flu deaths per year: 12,000-61,000
Current reported deaths by covid-19: 56,560
including that it almost exclusively kills "at risk" groups aka old or sick people and the over reporting/ false positives. How is it 10x worse and not just the flu?
inb4 muh lockdown.
>Are Sweden lying about their numbers
>Why is the liaise fair approach working
Stay safe fren
>mfw sweden let coronavirus spread to try to kill off boomer swedes and increase somali migration due to "falling population" but they exposed the hoax instead
no, it is perhaps slightly more complicated than a regular flu, but still quite similar
the difference is that your government treats you like adults. it understood nobody can contain a flu like virus that is pandemic. it has confidence in your health care system. and let you know the situation and advised you how to proceed. didn't put you all under house arrest, indefinitely, supervised by police and army as scolded children.
that is also why half the western world is seething and mad at you.
