I would like to see a study that finds causative evidence rather than correlational evidence that single motherhood negatively affects childhood outcomes. I'm actually kind of inclined to believe that there is a large lateral group of people who reproduce this way and that their kids would be garbage even if they had a perfect father figure.

To OP's question and the subject of the video I posted, there isn't a real reason that promiscuity is bad, but a woman actually reproducing without a father in the picture is basically a broadcast to the world that mother and child's genes are fucking worthless.
